Madre Harper: Sent packing by Giants
New York waived Harper (groin) on Wednesday, Michael Eisen of the team's official site reports.
The Giants didn't list Harper with an injury designation when sending him to waivers, which is an indication that the cornerback is healthy. He primarily contributed on special teams across nine appearances with the team last season.

Giants' Madre Harper: Ruled out with groin injury
Harper exited Sunday's preseason game against the Browns with a groin injury and was ruled out from a return, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Harper was in line for significant run in the contest and managed one tackle and one pass defensed prior to suffering the injury. His primary contributions in 2020 came on special teams, which could be the case once again this season.

Giants' Madre Harper: Activated from injured reserve
Harper (knee) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
The 23-year-old has been sidelined by the knee injury, but he'll return from injured reserve after the three-game minimum. Harper has primarily worked on special teams for the Giants this season.
