Mark Arcobello: Agrees to contract with SC Bern
Arcobello signed a two-year contract with NLA squad SC Bern on Tuesday.
Arcobello hit the ice in just 20 games with Toronto this season, despite the number of fellow Marlies that received significantly more action in the majors this season. The 27-year-old has earned the journeyman title after spending time with five different organizations over the last two seasons. If the winger can improve his resume in Switzerland, there remains a chance he could return to the NHL in the future.

Maple Leafs' Mark Arcobello: Sent to AHL
Arcobello has been loaned to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL, the Toronto Sun reports.
Joining Arcobello on the way to the AHL for the time being are Brendan Leipsic and Josh Leivo, while William Nylander, Kasperi Kapanen, Nikita Soshnikov, Zach Hyman, and Ben Smith have all been summoned by the big club as the team shuffles the deck up front. In 20 games for the Leafs this season, Arcobello has notched three goals and four points.

Arcobello will get a chance to rejoin the roster due to a plethora of injuries among the Maple Leafs forwards. He didn't notch any points in 11 games with the club earlier in the season, but was slotted in as the center on the third line during Monday's practice, and will likely do the same in Tuesday's contest against the Flames.

Arcobello was reassigned to AHL Toronto on Monday, James Mirtle of The Globe and Mail reports.
Arcobello hasn't recorded a point with the Maple Leafs despite drawing into the lineup for 11 games this season, but he did record 15 shots on goal while averaging 10:17 of ice time. The winger will now return to the AHL affiliate, and await another opportunity to rejoin the parent club should another forward suffer an injury.

Arcobello was recalled by the Maple Leafs on Monday, Dhiren Mahiban of the Canadian Press reports.
Just a day after he was sent to the AHL, Arcobello will now rejoin the parent club. His recall could also indicate that Byron Forese's (lower body) status heading into Wednesday's matchup with the Ducks remains in doubt. Regardless, Arcobello would be among the bottom six forwards if he draws into the lineup, limiting any potential values for the winger, who's notched 27 points in 23 games at the AHL level this season.

Arcobello has participated in nine games with the Maple Leafs so far this season, but has yet to notch a point. He'll return to AHL Toronto on Sunday, where he'll have the opportunity to develop further with extended ice time. So far this season with AHL Toronto, Arcobello has recorded 12 goals and 15 assists over 23 games.

Arcobello will be returning to Toronto after being called up Wednesday, Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun reports.
Arcobello suited up seven times for the Maple Leafs at the opening of the season, but has spent the rest of the year down in the AHL. The 27-year-old has performed well in the minors, registering 27 points in 22 contests. Toronto will be hoping the winger can transition his game to the NHL level and bring some much needed productivity.
