Mast was not presented with a qualifying offer from Chicago on Monday, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
Due to Mast not receiving a qualifying offer, the 23-year-old will become an unrestricted free agent. The right-shot defenseman garnered 14 assists and a plus-2 rating over 46 games with AHL Rockford in 2025-26. Mast has never suited up in an NHL game.
