Rangers' Adam Sykora: Drops to AHL
Sykora was reassigned to AHL Hartford on Tuesday, Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today reports.
Sykora returns to the AHL after a one-day stay with the big club. The 20-year-old winger figures to make most of his appearances with the farm team this season, though he could be in line for a call-up if he impresses during the campaign.

Rangers' Adam Sykora: Called up Monday
Sykora was recalled by the Rangers on Monday, Arthur Staple of The Athletic reports.
Sykora hasn't yet made his NHL debut and will likely be left off the Rangers' Opening Night roster this year, as his call-up was part of several transactions to maximize the Rangers' salary cap as they begin the year with Jimmy Vesey (lower body) on long-term injured reserve. Sykora made 66 appearances for AHL Hartford last year and racked up eight goals and 23 points.
