Alscher was reassigned to AHL Charlotte on Thursday.
Alscher will head back to the AHL after earning three assists over his first four NHL games. He'll link up with Charlotte at the tail end of the regular season as the minor-league club prepares for a playoff run.

Panthers' Marek Alscher: Dishes pair of helpers
Alscher recorded two assists, two shots on goal and three blocked shots in Wednesday's 8-1 win over the Red Wings.
Alscher played the last four games of the regular season, earning three assists, six shots on net, four hits, six blocked shots and a plus-4 rating. While injuries opened the door for this audition, the 22-year-old defenseman looks to have some potential to challenge for an NHL job in a year or two. For now, he's likely to head back to AHL Charlotte for the minor-league team's playoff run.

Panthers' Marek Alscher: Earns first career assist
Alscher notched an assist and went plus-3 in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Maple Leafs.
Alscher has been thrown right into the fire in a top-four role, filling in for the Panthers' numerous injuries on the blue line. It took him just two games to contribute his first point, an assist. The 22-year-old defenseman had just 11 points in 51 AHL outings with Charlotte prior to his call-up, but it's all hands on deck to fill out a lineup sheet for the Panthers right now. Alscher will likely need more development time in the AHL in 2026-27.

Panthers' Marek Alscher: Called up by Florida
Alscher was recalled from AHL Charlotte on Thursday.
Alscher hasn't yet made his NHL debut after being selected by the Panthers in the third round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, but he'll join Florida with just under a week remaining in the regular season. Across 51 appearances with the Checkers this year, Alscher has recorded three goals, eight assists, 32 PIM and a plus-18 rating.
