Farabee's tally came midway through the second period to narrow Boston's lead to 3-2, and it ended his eight-game goal-scoring drought. He then got the primary assist on Owen Tippett's marker midway through the third frame. Farabee has 14 goals and 38 points in 80 appearances this season. He's tied his career high in points, which was set in 2020-21.

Both points came in the second period as the 23-year-old extended his goal streak to four games with the performance. That surge for Farabee comes after a 26-game goal drought, but at least he's closing the season on a high note. While he's only 22 years old, Farabee is already in his fourth NHL campaign, and the point-packing winger is well on his way to a career year offensively. Fantasy managers would like to see him produce on the power play, though.

The 2018 first-round draft pick snapped a season-long scoring skid by playing a role in all three of the Flyers' markers Saturday. Despite averaging more than 20 minutes of ice time, the 22-year-old left winger went pointless during the Flyers' first four games. Against the Predators, Farabee earned two first-period helpers and connected on a third-period goal. Farabee, who scored a combined 37 goals the previous two seasons, benefited from receiving top-line shifts with Kevin Hayes and Travis Konecny.

That's great news for Farabee and the Flyers, as he had offseason neck surgery and was iffy for the start of the season. He had 17 goals and 34 points in 63 games last season and is expected to be a top-six forward this season.

Flyers' Joel Farabee: To visit doctor Thursday
Farabee (neck) will visit his doctor Thursday looking for clearance for contact, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports.
If Farabee does get clearance from his doctor, then the Flyers medical staff will need to clear him to play, as he hopes to get into the season opener Oct. 13. Farabee had successful disc replacement surgery in June and the prognosis at the time was 3-4 months, which would put his recovery right on schedule. He had 17 goals and 34 points in 63 games last season.
