Byram (upper body) was back at practice Thursday morning and could play in the evening's matchup versus Winnipeg, per Marc Moser of Altitude Sports 950.

Byram was removed from Tuesday's win over the Ducks after taking a hit from Max Jones. Colorado head coach Jared Bednar relayed that the defenseman was doing "good" as of Wednesday morning. That's good news for Byram, who has a concussion history. The Avalanche were already without Cale Makar (lower body), which leaves the team thin on the blue line.
