Buccaneers' Yaya Diaby: Another productive season in '25
Diaby recorded 50 tackles (29 solo), including 7.0 sacks, one defensed pass and one forced fumble across 17 games during the 2025 season.
Diaby played in all 17 games for the third time in as many seasons to open his career, and he got to the 7.0-sack threshold for the second campaign within that span. Diaby is still looking for his first career interception, but he's now forced one fumble in each of his first three seasons and played a career-high 781 snaps in 2025. Diaby will head into the final year of his contract in 2026, although given the steady production he's delivered over his first three seasons, it's possible the Bucs may be willing to discuss an extension this offseason.

Buccaneers' Yaya Diaby: Quiet in Week 8 win
Diaby recorded one assisted tackle during Sunday's win over the Saints.
Diaby logged his lowest statistical output of the season versus New Orleans, despite handling a normal workload (playing 70 percent of defensive snaps). He'll look to get back on track Week 9 at home against New England. Across eight regular-season appearances, Diaby has logged 23 tackles (15 solo), including 4.0 sacks, plus one forced fumble.

Diaby logged five tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, and forced a fumble in Monday's loss to the Lions.
Diaby made a big play early, sacking Jared Goff in Tampa Bay territory and forcing a fumble that was recovered by the Buccaneers. However, his team was unable to capitalize, punting after failing to convert a first down on the subsequent drive. Diaby's sack pushed him up to 4.0 through seven games on the season.

Buccaneers' Yaya Diaby: Effective in pursuit Sunday
Diaby tallied three assisted tackles and two QB hits in Sunday's Week 1 win over Atlanta.
Though Diaby posted a modest tackle total in the season-opener, one of his stops went for a loss and he also notched a pair of QB hits. The third-year linebacker logged 56 of the Bucs' 76 defensive snaps. Diaby racked up 12.0 regular-season sacks over his first two NFL campaigns.
