  • Jonny DeLuca RF | TB

Rays' Jonny DeLuca: Homers again Sunday

DeLuca went 2-for-4 with a double, a two-run home run and three RBI in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Nationals.

After striking out in each of his first two plate appearances, DeLuca doubled in the fifth inning and later delivered the game's biggest hit, launching a two-run homer off Orlando Ribalta in the seventh to give Tampa Bay the eventual winning runs. The outfielder has wasted little time making an impact since returning from the injured list, going 3-for-8 (.375) with two homers and three RBI across his first eight plate appearances back in the lineup. Before the hamstring injury, DeLuca was batting .269 with two homers and 19 RBI across 41 contests.

  • Colton Cowser CF | BAL

Orioles' Colton Cowser: Goes deep in four-RBI effort

Cowser went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI during the Orioles' 12-1 win over the Dodgers on Sunday.

Cowser matched a career high in RBI on Sunday in what was also his first three-hit effort of the campaign. The 26-year-old has bounced around Baltimore's outfield in 2026, serving primarily as the Orioles' center fielder. Through 190 trips to the plate, Cowser is slashing a decent .238/.328/.402 with eight homers, three doubles, 27 RBI and two stolen bases.

  • Taylor Ward RF | SEA

Orioles' Taylor Ward: Pops rare homer in rout

Ward went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two additional runs scored during the Orioles' 12-1 win over the Dodgers on Sunday.

Ward connected on his second homer of the month and only his fourth extra-base hit since the beginning of June. The 32-year-old outfielder has been a fixture near the top of Baltimore's batting order all season, appearing in all but one of the club's first 79 games, but he's really struggling for power during his debut year with the Orioles. Through 358 plate appearances, Ward is slashing .255/.393/.355 with four big flies, 17 doubles, 21 RBI and 49 runs scored.

  • Theo Gillen OF | TB

Rays' Theo Gillen: Moving up to Double-A

The Rays promoted Gillen from High-A Bowling Green to Double-A Montgomery on Sunday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Gillen will move up to Double-A after slashing .342/.449/.589 with 12 home runs and 28 stolen bases over 265 plate appearances in 57 games with Bowling Green. The 20-year-old is considered to be one of Tampa Bay's top overall prospects, and he'll have a shot to climb to the Triple-A level before the end of 2026.

  • Henry Bolte CF | ATH

Athletics' Henry Bolte: Logs eighth steal

Bolte went 1-for-3 with a walk, one RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 9-7 loss to the Angels.

Bolte has logged three steals on four attempts over his last six games. He's just 5-for-19 (.263) at the plate in that span, though he's added a respectable 5:8 BB:K. For the season, the outfielder is batting .315 with an .814 OPS, eight steals, two home runs, 10 RBI, 11 runs scored and five doubles over 36 contests.

  • Jose Siri LF | LAA

Angels' Jose Siri: Picks up steal in win

Siri went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-7 win over the Athletics.

Siri continues to fill in for Mike Trout (hamstring) in center field. The theft was Siri's first of the season, but he has shown moderate speed in the past, logging at least 12 steals in three straight years from 2022-2024. He's rarely held a starting role with any team, and with Trout's absence likely to be on the shorter side, Siri will probably be back in a reserve role in a few weeks. He has hit well this season, batting .297 with an .883 OPS, four home runs, 16 RBI, 16 runs scored and three doubles over 73 plate appearances.

  • Ryan Kreidler SS | MIN

Twins' Ryan Kreidler: Delivers three-hit effort

Kreidler went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Kreidler was in the lineup versus a right-hander for the second game in a row, at the expense of Tristan Gray. With three hits in each of his last two games, Kreidler may be gaining some momentum for a stretch in the lineup at shortstop. On the season, he's hitting .295 with a .920 OPS, four home runs, 18 RBI, 16 runs scored, three doubles and two triples over 89 plate appearances. He was also caught stealing Sunday -- he's 0-for-3 on the basepaths this year.

  • Luke Raley RF | SEA

Mariners' Luke Raley: Taking seat against southpaw

Raley (illness) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Raley will be on the bench for a sixth straight game, but his absence Sunday may have more to do with a lefty (Payton Tolle) making the start for Boston. The 31-year-old made enough progress in his recovery from an illness to make a pinch-hitting appearance in Saturday's 5-1 loss, with Raley striking out in his lone at-bat.

  • Carlos Cortes LF | ATH

Athletics' Carlos Cortes: Idle against southpaw

Cortes is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Cortes is stuck in a 2-for-29 slump at the plate over his last 10 games, and since the left-handed hitter likely would have struggled to get back on track Sunday versus Angels southpaw Reid Detmers, the Athletics have elected to keep him on the bench for a second straight game. Joey Meneses will step in for Cortes as the Athletics' designated hitter in the series finale.

  • Athletics' Lawrence Butler: Heading to bench vs. lefty

Butler is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

After starting in six of the Athletics' previous seven games, the left-handed-hitting Butler will head to the bench while the Angels send southpaw Reid Detmers to the bump Sunday. Colby Thomas will replace Butler in right field and will bat seventh.
