Giants' Jung Hoo Lee: Sent to injured list

Lee was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday due to a groin contusion, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

This transaction brings an early end to Lee's 2026 campaign. He'll finish the year slashing .276/.320/.404 with 10 home runs, 57 RBI, 12 stolen bases and 65 runs over 143 games.

  • Bo Davidson RF | SF

Giants' Bo Davidson: Expected to be called up

Davidson will join the Giants in San Francisco and is likely to be added to the roster before Monday's game against the Twins, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

There's no word on whose roster spot he will take, but Jung Hoo Lee (groin) and Bryce Eldridge (head) are both banged up. Davidson has slashed .290/.361/.527 with 29 home runs, 20 stolen bases and a 53:118 BB:K over 125 games between the Double-A and Triple-A levels this season to earn his first promotion to the big leagues. The 24-year-old outfielder has experience at all three outfield spots but has primarily played center field in the minors.

  • Jonah Cox CF | SF

Giants' Jonah Cox: Logs stolen base in Sunday's loss

Cox went 0-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Dodgers.

Cox reached base on a leadoff walk in the first inning and later stole third before coming around to score. Although he's gone hitless in back-to-back outings, the 25-year-old recorded at least one hit in each of his eight prior games. He's batting .289 with seven runs scored, five RBI and five stolen bases in 43 plate appearances over the last 10 contests. On the campaign, Cox is slashing .281/.324/.422 with 25 runs scored, 15 RBI, a team-high 14 stolen bases and four long balls across 143 plate appearances.

  • Brewers' Jackson Chourio: Secures 20-20 season again

Chourio went 1-for-3 with a walk and two stolen bases in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Orioles.

With the pair of steals, Chourio is up to 21 thefts on the year. He's secured a third straight 20-20 campaign to begin his career -- he also has a personal-best 24 home runs through just 121 contests. Chourio has picked up the running with seven steals in September alone. He's batting .285 with an .825 OPS across 553 plate appearances.

  • Andy Pages CF | LAD

Dodgers' Andy Pages: Expected to be activated Tuesday

Pages (hand) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Pages will make his return to the Dodgers after missing more than a month of action while recovering from surgery to address a left hand fracture. Once activated, Pages will likely take over as the Dodgers' everyday center fielder, pushing Tommy Edman back to second base and Alex Freeland into a bench role.

  • Samad Taylor LF | SD

Padres' Samad Taylor: Racks up three hits in win

Taylor went 3-for-3 with a double and one RBI in Sunday's 7-3 win over the Marlins.

Taylor has four multi-hit efforts over his last five contests, a span in which he's also supplied seven RBI. The speedy outfielder has logged an extra-base hit in three of his last four contests. He continues to put bat to ball well, hitting .343 on the year with an .862 OPS, two home runs, four doubles, two triples, 18 RBI, 25 runs scored and 10 stolen bases across 159 plate appearances.

  • Padres' Fernando Tatis: Matches last year's homer total

Tatis went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-3 win over the Marlins.

Tatis has homered five times over his last nine games. He's now at 25 homers this year, matching his total from the 2025 regular season. The outfielder is batting .285 with an .823 OPS, 36 stolen bases, 81 RBI, 94 runs scored, 30 doubles and three triples over 154 contests.

  • Jung Hoo Lee RF | SF

Giants' Jung Hoo Lee: Exits early Sunday

Lee (groin) exited Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Dodgers in the seventh inning, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Lee fouled a ball off his groin area earlier in the contest, and he was ultimately replaced by Drew Gilbert in the outfield prior to the beginning of the bottom of the seventh frame. Lee will likely undergo further evaluation, and he can be considered day-to-day for the time being.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Stays hot in easy win Sunday

Crow-Armstrong went 3-for-5 with a double, a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's 9-1 win over the Reds. He also stole a base.

The star outfielder is following up a scintillating August with a big final month of the regular season, as he's now sporting a .946 OPS with six stolen bases, seven home runs and 16 RBI across 18 September contests. Overall, Crow-Armstrong is up to 45 long balls and 38 steals, putting him within shouting distance of just the seventh 40-40 campaign in MLB history. If he swipes two bases and goes deep five more times in the final week, Crow-Armstrong will be just the second player in MLB history to reach 50 homers and 40 steals, joining Shohei Ohtani during his incredible 2024 campaign, when he was unanimously named National League MVP. Crow-Armstrong seems well on his way to taking home that award this year.

  • Seiya Suzuki RF | CHC

Cubs' Seiya Suzuki: Blasts 25th home run Sunday

Suzuki went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 9-1 win over the Reds.

Suzuki was 0-for-4 with a strikeout until his final at-bat of the game in the eighth inning, when he crushed his 25th home run of the season. It was the talented outfielder's first long ball this month, and his overall total is the second highest of his MLB career, trailing only the 32 homers he hit in 151 regular-season games last year. Suzuki missed a little time to begin 2026 due to a right knee sprain suffered in the World Baseball Classic, but it's been another strong offensive campaign for the 32-year-old slugger.
