Diamondbacks' Ryan Waldschmidt: RBI, steal in win
Waldschmidt went 0-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Dodgers.
Waldschmidt returned to action after missing Saturday's game with a hand injury he sustained Friday when he was hit by a pitch. He's started in center field twice in the four games since his call-up last Thursday. Tommy Troy (shoulder) was getting regular run there, but he's batted just .184 (7-for-38) over the last two weeks, opening an opportunity for Waldschmidt.

Dane Myers CF | CIN
Reds' Dane Myers: Ready for rehab assignment
The Reds sent Myers to the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on Monday to begin a rehab assignment.
Per MLB.com, Myers is hopeful to return from the 10-day injured list for the Reds' first game out of the All-Star break Friday in Colorado, so he may need just a couple of games in Arizona to prove his health. Before landing on the IL on June 30 due to a left shoulder contusion, Myers had mostly served as a short-side platoon outfielder for the Reds this season and slashed .256/.358/.385 with three home runs, five stolen bases, 14 RBI and 18 runs across 137 plate appearances.

Luis Robert CF | BAL
Mets' Luis Robert: Another two-hit game in rehab
Robert (back) went 2-for-6 with two runs and an RBI while playing eight innings in center field in a rehab game with Double-A Binghamton on Sunday.
Though he hasn't played on consecutive days since kicking off his rehab assignment June 30, Robert appears to have settled into a nice rhythm at the plate while out on the farm. He's turned in three straight two-hit efforts and is slashing .304/.360/.435 in 25 total plate appearances over six games between Binghamton and Triple-A Syracuse. According to MLB.com, Robert is expected to require a day or two of prep coming out of the All-Star break before rejoining the Mets, but he appears likely to be activated from the 60-day injured list at some point during the big club's series with the Phillies next weekend. Robert has played exclusively in center during his rehab assignment, but the Mets could end up deploying him as a designated hitter when he's reinstated to allow superstar Juan Soto and rookies Carson Benge and AJ Ewing to continue playing regularly in the outfield.

Ronald Acuna Jr. RF | ATL
Braves' Ronald Acuna: Starting up rehab assignment in FCL
Atlanta announced that Acuna (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment Monday in the rookie-level Florida Complex League.
Acuna has been on the shelf for just over a month due to a left hamstring strain, but after recently resuming full baseball activities, he's been given the green light to advance to the final step of his recovery process. Atlanta hasn't revealed how long of a rehab assignment Acuna will require prior to being activated, but if he experiences no setbacks while playing in the FCL early in the week, it's conceivable that he'll be ready to go for the big club's first game out of the All-Star break Friday versus the Rangers.

Diamondbacks' Tommy Troy: Set for MRI
Troy (shoulder) will undergo an MRI on Monday, Brian Murphy of MLB.com reports.

The 24-year-old will now undergo additional imaging to determine the severity of his injury. With the All-Star break beginning Monday, Troy could avoid missing any additional action moving forward if the MRI comes back clean.

Jacob Young CF | WAS
Nationals' Jacob Young: Hand remains bothersome
Manager Blake Butera said Young was unavailable for Sunday's game against the Yankees since his left hand remains sore, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.
Young missed some time in early July due to the injury, and he apparently never fully recovered from the issue despite making a couple of recent starts. Butera indicated the outfielder will likely need another 4-to-5 days to get back to full strength, so he could be ready to go Friday against the A's when the Nationals begin the second half of the season.
