Lopez went 2-for-5 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Diamondbacks.
Lopez is up to 31 steals on the year, though he's just 2-for-3 on the basepaths over 15 games in September. He has logged five multi-hit efforts while batting .316 (18-for-57) this month. The infielder has maintained good contact skills all year, batting .306 with a .787 OPS, 10 home runs, 69 RBI, 89 runs scored, 31 doubles and nine triples across 149 contests.

Reds' Elly De La Cruz: Stays hot with 28th homer
De La Cruz went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a second run scored in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Dodgers.
De La Cruz put the Reds ahead in the third inning with a two-run, two-out blast off Seth Halvorsen, his 28th homer of the season and seventh in his last 11 games. De La Cruz has been on a tear over the last month -- he's batting .424 (39-for-92) in his past 23 games with 18 extra-base hits and a 1.274 OPS in that span. The star shortstop is now slashing .286/.364/.521 with 74 RBI, 94 runs scored and 26 stolen bases across 593 plate appearances this year.

Orioles' Jose Barrero: Contract selected
The Orioles selected Barrero's contract from Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday.
Barrero has spent the entire season up to this point at Triple-A, slashing .201/.303/.397 with 23 homers, 57 RBI, 63 runs scored and 12 steals across 502 plate appearances. He'll now join the big-league roster as the replacement for Jackson Holliday (wrist) and could pick up a few starts down the stretch against left-handed pitchers.

Brewers' Cooper Pratt: Returning to Milwaukee lineup
Pratt (illness) will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Wednesday's game versus the Pirates.
Pratt didn't participate in Tuesday's game due to illness, but he feels well enough a day later to give it a go. The rookie shortstop is slashing .273/.341/.369 with three home runs and 13 stolen bases in his first 64 big-league contests.

Rays' Taylor Walls: Nearing return from IL
Rays manager Kevin Cash said Wednesday that Walls (hip) felt good during his workouts Tuesday, and the team is encouraged by the shortstop's progress, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.
Walls hit the 10-day injured list Sept. 8 with a right hip flexor strain, but it sounds like he won't miss much more than the minimum, with Bass indicating Walls could return as soon as Thursday. Now 30, Walls is a .199/.290/.297 career hitter over parts of six MLB seasons. However, Tampa Bay values his defense, and that aspect of his game has kept Walls in a regular role throughout the season (110 starts).

Nationals' CJ Abrams: Back in Nationals' lineup
Abrams (neck) will start at second base and bat cleanup in Wednesday's contest versus the Phillies.
Abrams was unable to play Tuesday because of neck tightness, but he's ready to roll after one day of rest. It's the sixth start at second base this season for Abrams, who has split time between both spots in the middle infield over the last two-plus weeks.

White Sox's Colson Montgomery: Leaves game with bruised wrist
Montgomery was removed from Wednesday's game versus the Guardians in the fifth inning with a left wrist contusion.
Montgomery initially stayed in the game after being hit by a Parker Messick pitch in the fourth inning, but he eventually had to be replaced. X-rays came back negative, and he's listed as day-to-day. Aside from the hit-by-pitch, Montgomery struck out in his only other plate appearance before being removed.

Kaelen Culpepper SS | MIN
Twins' Kaelen Culpepper: Shelved with strained hamstring
The Twins placed Culpepper on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a left hamstring strain.
Culpepper tweaked his hamstring while running out a double play in Tuesday's loss to the Yankees. The strain is considered mild, giving Culpepper a chance to return for the final two games of the regular season, per Dan Hayes of The Athletic. Ben Ross is starting at shortstop for the Twins on Wednesday, and he could share the position with Ryan Kreidler while Culpepper is shelved.
