Lakers' Marcus Smart: Won't play Wednesday

Smart (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves, NBA reporter Jovan Buha reports.

Smart will miss a second straight game due to a left quadriceps contusion. The veteran guard was initially listed as questionable but was downgraded. The team will likely lean on Jake LaRavia, Dalton Knecht and Bronny James to help shoulder the load in the backcourt.
