Smith (knee) is available to play Friday against the Timberwolves.
Smith was dealt to the Pelicans from the Bucks on Thursday, and he'll be ready to roll after passing through the typical trade formalities. He failed to find much of a role off the bench with Milwaukee, so he's hoping for a better outcome in New Orleans.
