Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Cleared for back-to-back game

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault said after Thursday's 124-104 loss to the Suns that Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) will be available for the second half of the back-to-back set Friday in Indiana, Nick Crain of SI.com reports.

Prior to the All-Star break, Gilgeous-Alexander had missed 10 consecutive games with a right ankle sprain. Though the break provided Gilgeous-Alexander with sufficient time to recover from the injury, he wasn't a lock to play Friday after he logged 35 minutes in his return to the lineup Thursday, finishing with a game-high 32 points to go with five assists and two rebounds. Daigneault erased any doubt about Gilgeous-Alexander's availability for Friday, so fantasy managers that activated him for the half-week may end up getting one more game out of the 23-year-old than they might have initially anticipated.
