Chet Holmgren C | OKC
Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Double-double against Spurs
Holmgren notched 10 points (5-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists and one block across 31 minutes during Thursday's 117-102 loss to San Antonio.
The double-double was Holmgren's fifth of the season, and first since Nov. 11. The 23-year-old big looked none the worse for wear after leaving Tuesday's contest in the fourth quarter after getting popped in the face, and over his last 12 contests he's averaging 17.4 points, 7.8 boards, 1.4 threes, 1.3 assists and 1.3 blocks.

Isaiah Hartenstein C | OKC
Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Nabs double-double in loss
Hartenstein recorded 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and one steal over 24 minutes during Thursday's 117-102 loss to San Antonio.
The double-double was his eighth of the season and first since Nov. 15, and Hartenstein has recorded either double-digit points or boards, but not both at the same time, in eight straight games since then while dealing with a calf issue. The 27-year-old center also played two straight games for the first time since late November, suggesting he might be close to getting back in form.

Victor Wembanyama C | SA
Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Double-double from second unit
Wembanyama finished with 19 points (6-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 26 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 117-102 victory over Oklahoma City.
For the sixth straight game since returning from a calf strain, Wembanyama was deployed with the second unit, but his 26 minutes represented his biggest workload during that stretch. The third-year center has also logged a double-double in three of the last four contests, and since his return he's averaging 18.0 points, 9.5 boards, 2.7 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.2 threes in 21.5 minutes.

Karl-Anthony Towns C | NY
Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Double-double in Christmas win
Towns contributed 11 points (5-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds, one assist and two steals across 27 minutes during Thursday's 126-124 victory over the Cavaliers.
The double-double was his 20th of the season. Towns' production has been erratic in December, perhaps due to nagging lower-body injuries that have cost him two of the Knicks' 11 games this month. When he's been on the court, the veteran center has averaged 22.2 points, 11.3 boards, 2.1 assists, 1.8 threes and 1.1 steals, but he pulled down double-digit rebounds in only five of those nine contests -- something he accomplished in 17 of his first 19 appearances in 2025-26.

Jonas Valanciunas C | DEN
Nuggets' Jonas Valanciunas: Cleared to play Thursday
Valanciunas (illness) is available for Thursday's matchup against the Timberwolves.
As expected, Valanciunas will play through his illness. The backup center is averaging 9.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 13.9 minutes during December.

Robert Williams III C | POR
Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Questionable to face Boston
Williams (knee) is questionable for Friday's matchup against the Celtics.
Williams took Tuesday's loss to the Magic off for rest, and he may sit out again Friday. If that's the case, look for Duop Reath and Yang Hansen to potentially see increased roles.

Anthony Davis C | DAL
Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Exits Thursday with groin injury
Davis won't return to Thursday's game against the Warriors due to right groin spasms. He posted three points (1-4 FG, 1-4 FT), three rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 11 minutes prior to departing.
Davis exited with 8:50 left in the second quarter after he appeared to suffer the injury while running up the court in transition. After being evaluated at halftime, Davis was ruled out for the rest of the game at the beginning of the second half. The big man will likely be sent in for further testing as the Mavericks look to determine the extent of his injury, so for the time being, his status for the team's next game Saturday in Sacramento is in question.

Alperen Sengun C | HOU
Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Good to go for Christmas Day
Sengun (calf) is available for Thursday's game against the Lakers, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
Despite calf tightness, Sengun will play on Christmas Day. In December, he's averaging 24.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.5 blocks in 35.1 minutes.

Anthony Davis C | DAL
Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Heads to locker room
Davis appeared to injure his leg during the second quarter of Thursday's game against the Warriors and walked to the locker room, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports.
It's not exactly clear what sort of injury Davis is dealing with. He should be considered questionable to return.

Mason Plumlee C | CHA
Hornets' Mason Plumlee: Still out for Friday
Plumlee (groin) will not play in Friday's matchup against the Magic.
With Plumlee and Ryan Kalkbrenner (elbow) sidelined, Moussa Diabate should continue starting and seeing an expanded role.
