  • Celtics' Payton Pritchard: Downgraded to questionable

Pritchard is questionable for Monday's game against Detroit due to neck spasms, Zack Cox of the Boston Herald reports.

Pritchard was a late addition to the injury report and is in jeopardy of missing his first game of the campaign. If he's unable to give it a go Monday, Derrick White is likely to see an uptick in usage, and Anfernee Simons could be more involved in the backcourt.

  • Kings' Dennis Schroder: Strong scoring off bench in return

Schroder (hip) registered 17 points (5-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three assists and one rebound across 25 minutes Sunday in the Kings' 117-103 loss to the Timberwolves.

Schroder made his return to action Sunday after missing Sacramento's previous seven games due to a right hip flexor strain. While Russell Westbrook retained starting duties at point guard, Schroder was still able to overlap with him a bit due to Zach LaVine exiting due to a left ankle injury after playing just 16 minutes. Nique Clifford ended up opening the second half with the starting five in LaVine's stead, but Schroder and fellow reserve guard Malik Monk would likely continue to see notable spikes in playing time if LaVine isn't available for the Kings' next game Thursday in Portland.

  • Jalen Suggs SG | ORL

Magic's Jalen Suggs: May miss extended time

Suggs (hip) might be out for an extended period, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports Saturday.

Suggs was clearly battling discomfort for a few games, but he was playing through the pain and scored 25 first-half points against the Knicks on Saturday during an NBA Cup semifinals matchup. However, the point guard aggravated the issue in the third quarter and was ultimately unable to finish the contest despite multiple efforts to stay in the game. Suggs will be evaluated over the next couple of days, but it sounds like the team is preparing to be without him for at least a few weeks. "He's been battling through some pain the last few games," Magic forward Paolo Banchero said. "He's just been giving it his all for the team and kind of playing through it, so you hope it's not too bad, whatever the injury is. We don't want to lose him."

  • Jock Landale C | MEM

Grizzlies' Jock Landale: Garnering larger role sans Edey

Landale totaled eight points (3-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt), nine rebounds, one assist and one block in 27 minutes during Friday's 130-126 loss to the Jazz.

With Zach Edey sidelined to begin the season following left ankle surgery, Landale started the first 13 games at center, averaging 10.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 combined steals-plus-blocks a night while shooting 56.8 percent from the field during that stretch. Edey left last week's game against Portland after suffering a stress reaction in his left ankle, and Landale went on to post 15 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in 21 minutes during a 119-96 win. With Edey expected to miss at least a month, it was safe to assume that Landale would reclaim a starting spot, but Memphis opted to start Jaren Jackson and Santi Aldama in the frontcourt Friday, leaving Landale to come off the bench. Despite operating as a reserve, Landale played at least 27 minutes for only the fifth time this season. Whether he's a regular starter in Edey's absence or not, Landale should have a sizable role within the rotation and should be back on fantasy radars.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Underwhelms in return

Allen (finger) recorded nine points (3-8 FG, 3-5 FT), three rebounds and one assist across 23 minutes Sunday in the Cavaliers' 119-111 overtime loss to the Hornets.

Though Allen was back in action following a six-game absence due to a right middle finger strain, the Cavaliers appeared to deliberately keep his minutes in check Sunday as he works to regain conditioning. For the season, Allen is shooting a career-low 56.3 percent from the field and is averaging 14.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.8 blocks in 25.9 minutes per game, but he could see a boost in his production once he's fully ramped back up. Evan Mobley (calf) is expected to miss multiple weeks, which could clear the way for Allen to take on more playing time and usage in the frontcourt.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Double-double off bench Sunday

Williams amassed 11 points (4-4 FG, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and one steal across 19 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 136-131 victory over the Warriors.

After missing the prior two games due to an illness, Williams joined the second unit in his return and posted a very efficient line while recording his first double-double of 2025-26. The 28-year-old center has started only once in his 16 appearances so far this season, with Sunday's 11 points representing his season high, and as long as Donovan Clingan stays healthy, Williams will have to be content with a spot on the bench.

  • Deni Avdija SF | POR

Trail Blazers' Deni Avdija: Strikes for 26 in win over Warriors

Avdija produced 26 points (6-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 12-13 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Sunday's 136-131 win over Golden State.

The 24-year-old forward continues to build on his impressive second half of 2024-25. Avdija has scored in double digits in every game this season and has dropped at least 16 points in nine straight contests, averaging 26.2 points, 8.3 boards, 8.0 assists, 2.4 threes and 1.5 combined steals and blocks during that latter stretch.

  • Shaedon Sharpe SG | POR

Trail Blazers' Shaedon Sharpe: Erupts for 35 against Golden State

Sharpe contributed 35 points (12-18 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, four assists and four steals in 33 minutes during Sunday's 136-131 win over the Warriors.

The fourth-year guard tied Jerami Grant for the team lead in scoring, marking the fourth time in his last 13 games that Sharpe has topped 30 points. The five made three-pointers were also a new season high. Sharpe missed four games in November due to a calf injury and came off the bench for six contests after returning to the lineup, but since returning to his usual workload, he's averaging 24.0 points, 4.2 boards, 3.3 assists, 2.5 threes and 1.7 steals in 30.7 minutes over the last six games.

  • Pacers' Quenton Jackson: Plays eight minutes in blowout loss

Jackson (hamstring) tallied one point (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and three rebounds across eight minutes in Sunday's 108-89 loss to the Wizards.

After an extended absence due to a right hamstring strain, Jackson had been upgraded to available for the Pacers' previous game Friday against the 76ers, but he was left out of the rotation in a 10-point loss. He remained on the bench for the entire first half of Sunday's contest before checking into the game early in the third quarter in what was his first appearance at the NBA level since Nov. 3. Jackson wasn't particularly productive during his time on the court, but it wouldn't be surprising if he eventually earned more playing time on the wing at the expense of fellow two-way player Ethan Thompson or journeyman Garrison Mathews.

  • Jerami Grant PF | POR

Trail Blazers' Jerami Grant: Pours in 35 in Sunday's win

Grant had 35 points (12-22 FG, 7-13 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one block across 34 minutes during Sunday's 136-131 victory over the Warriors.

The veteran forward tied Shaedon Sharpe for the team lead in points on the night, as Grant also tied his own season scoring high and set a new high in made three-pointers. He's scored in double digits in 10 straight games, averaging 22.3 points, 4.4 boards, 3.0 threes, 2.8 assists and 1.5 combined blocks and steals over that stretch.
