Bears' Khalil Mack: Day-to-day with foot injury

Coach Matt Nagy said Monday that Mack (foot) will continue to be day-to-day, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site reports.

Mack, who has dealt with the foot injury for the majority of the season, missed the Bears' Week 8 matchup with the 49ers. Despite the injury, the star pass rusher has been able to notch six sacks through seven games this season. It's unclear if Mack will be able to return for Week 9, but if he doesn't, Trevis Gipson will likely once again see an increased role against the Steelers on Monday night.
