Chiefs' Marquise Brown: May debut in Week 2

Brown (shoulder), who is inactive for Thursday's game against the Ravens, may be able to play in the Chiefs' Week 2 matchup with the Bengals on Sunday, Sept. 15, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Brown is expected to return to practice next week, which would be just a shade over four weeks since he suffered a sternoclavicular joint injury in his left shoulder in Kansas City's exhibition opener in Jacksonville. The typical recovery for such an injury is 4-to-6 weeks, and the sixth-year wide receiver appears to be trending toward the front end of that timetable. Brown likely will need to get through Week 2 prep unscathed for the Chiefs' medical personnel to sign off on him playing on Sept. 15, but there's a distinct chance he'll make his debut with the team on that date.
