Johnson (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's game against the Panthers, Mike Spofford of the team's official site reports.
Johnson didn't suit up in the Week 7 loss to Detroit. The 23-year-old will be held out for a second consecutive contest, and he likely won't get back on the field moving forward if Josh Jacobs, MarShawn Lloyd and Pierre Strong are active.
