Patriots' Malcolm Mitchell: Listed as questionable for Thursday's game

Mitchell (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday's season opener against the Chiefs.

Julian Edelman's season-ending knee injury has freed up some targets in the Patriots' passing attack, and that applies to Mitchell when he's available. Fellow wideouts Brandin Cooks and Chris Hogan also should see an uptick in targets as the team's starters, but Mitchell is likely to factor into the mix, too, given that veteran slot man Danny Amendola's snaps could be managed.
