Commanders' Drew Stevens: Makes three of four kicks in Week 5 tie

Stevens made both of his field-goal attempts and went 1-for-2 on extra-point tries during the Commanders' 27-27 tie with the Giants on Sunday.

Stevens missed his first kick of the game, a point-after attempt early in the first quarter, before connecting on field goals from 28 and 40 yards in the second period. Stevens has connected on two field goals in each of his last four outings and is 9-for-11 on field-goal attempts and 8-for-11 on extra-point tries through five games. The Commanders will hit the road for Week 6 against the 49ers on Monday, Oct. 19.

  • Giants' Dominic Zvada: Misses three field goals in Week 5 tie

Zvada went 2-for-5 on field-goal attempts and made all three of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 27-27 tie with the Commanders.

Zvada made all 11 of his field-goal attempts through the first four games of the regular season, but he fell back to earth a little bit during Sunday's game. Granted, two of his misses came from 50-plus yards, though he also missed a 46-yard field goal in overtime that would have given the Giants a 30-27 lead. His chance for redemption never came due to a Cam Skattebo fumble that turned the ball over in what would have been in field-goal range for Zvada. The rookie kicker is 11-for-14 on field-goal attempts (including 5-for-7 from 50-plus yards) and 8-for-8 on extra-point tries through five games. The Giants will stay home for a Week 6 tilt against the Saints on Oct. 18.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Perfect on six kicks vs. Indianapolis

Boswell made both of his field-goal attempts and went 4-for-4 on extra-point tries during the Steelers' 34-22 win over the Colts on Sunday.

Boswell's 48-yard field goal late in the second quarter gave the Steelers a 17-13 halftime lead, and the veteran kicker finished Sunday's scoring with a 54-yard field goal late in the fourth. The Steelers' offense under QB Aaron Rodgers has looked significantly better over the past three weeks, which will help with Boswell's scoring floor. He's 9-for-12 on field-goal attempts and 10-for-10 on extra-point tries through five games heading into a Week 6 road tilt against the Buccaneers on Oct. 18.

  • Colts' Spencer Shrader: Responsible for 16 points in Week 5 loss

Shrader made all five of his field-goal attempts and converted on his lone point-after try during Sunday's 34-22 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.

Quarterback Daniel Jones led the Colts on six offensive drives during Sunday's loss, though only one of those drives ended with a touchdown. That meant a busy day for Shrader, who made field goals from 57 and 56 yards in the first half before connecting on three more kicks from 22, 40 and 28 yards in the second. His five made field goals were his most in a game since Week 2 of the 2025 season, and he's attempted at least three field goals in each of the Colts' last four games. His 16 made field goals through five regular-season games leads the NFL, and he also leads all kickers with six made field goals from 50-plus yards. The Colts have a juicy Week 6 matchup against the 0-5 Titans on Oct. 18.

  • Saints' Daniel Carlson: Misses PAT vs. Minnesota

Carlson went 1-for-2 on extra-point tries during the Saints' 23-13 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.

It was a quiet day for Carlson due to the Saints' struggles on offense. New Orleans' only touchdown of Sunday's game came on an 87-yard scoop-and-score by safety Jonas Sanker, though Carlson missed the point-after try that would have given the Saints a 14-13 lead late in the third quarter. Carlson has made one or zero field goals in four of five games this season and has not attempted a field goal in two of the Saints' last three games. He's 5-for-7 on field-goal attempts and 11-for-13 on extra-point tries heading in the Saints' Week 6 road game against the Giants on Oct. 18.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Stays perfect in Week 5 victory

Reichard made all three of his field-goal attempts and both extra-point tries during the Vikings' 23-13 win over the Saints on Sunday.

Reichard got the Vikings on the board early in the first quarter on a 40-yard field goal before connecting on kicks from 54 and 55 yards in the second and fourth quarter, respectively. Reichard has made at least three field goals in each of his last four games and is 15-for-15 on field-goal tries through five games, which is second-best in the NFL behind Spencer Shrader (16-for-16). Reichard is also one of five kickers who have made at least five field goals from 50-plus yards. The Vikings will be on a bye for Week 6 before welcoming in the Colts for Week 7 on Sunday, Oct. 25.

  • Dolphins' Riley Patterson: Misses PAT vs. Cincinnati

Patterson made his lone field-goal attempt and went 1-for-2 one extra-point tries during the Dolphins' 31-24 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.

Patterson's only field goal was a 29-yard chip shot late in the third quarter, but he missed his first point-after try of the season late in the fourth quarter. He's attempted only one field goal in each of the Dolphins' last three games, and his weekly scoring floor figures to be lower than most kickers given that Miami averages only 14.0 points per game this season, which is second-worst in the NFL only behind the Titans (11.6). The Dolphins are on a bye Week 6 before hitting the road for a Week 7 AFC East tilt against the Jets on Sunday, Oct. 25.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Nails five kicks against Miami

McPherson made his lone field-goal attempt and all four of his extra-point tries during the Bengals' 31-24 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

McPherson was mostly limited to point-after tries thanks to four touchdown passes by Joe Burrow, but the former connected on a 26-yard chip shot late in the fourth quarter to extend Cincinnati's lead to 31-18. McPherson has attempted only one field goal in each of his last two games, but his scoring floor remains elevated on a week-to-week basis so long as the Bengals' offense under Burrow continues to move the ball down field. Cincinnati is on a bye for Week 6 before welcoming in Baltimore for Week 7 on Sunday, Oct. 25.

  • Jets' Jason Sanders: Makes trio of kicks in Week 5 win

Sanders made his lone field-goal attempt and both of his extra-point tries during the Jets' 17-12 win over the Browns on Sunday.

Both teams battled wind and rain during Sunday's contest at MetLife Stadium, but Sanders managed to extend the Jets' lead to 10-6 early in the fourth quarter on a 54-yard field goal. The veteran kicker has attempted just one field goal in three of the last four games and is 8-for-9 on field-goal tries through five regular-season games, with his lone miss coming from 50-plus yards. The Jets will hit the road for a Week 6 AFC East showdown against the Patriots on Oct. 18.

  • Andre Szmyt K | CLE

Browns' Andre Szmyt: Misses PAT in Week 5 loss

Szmyt made both of his field-goal attempts but missed his lone extra-point try during Sunday's 17-12 loss to the Jets on Sunday.

Szmyt paced the Browns' scoring in the first half with made field goals from 25 and 41 yards in the first and second quarter, respectively. He missed his first PAT of the season in the fourth quarter in what would have extended Cleveland's lead to 13-10, but both teams battled the elements during Sunday's contest at MetLife Stadium. Szmyt has made all 10 of his field-goal attempts and has gone 7-for-8 on extra-point tries through the first five games of the regular season, with two of his made field goals coming from 50-plus yards. The Browns will head back home for a Week 6 AFC North tilt against the Ravens on Oct. 18.
