  • Travis Homer RB | CHI

Bears' Travis Homer: Misses practice again

Homer (ankle) did not participate in Thursday's practice.

This marks Homer's second consecutive absence from practice as he deals with an ankle issue he picked up in the Bears' Week 14 loss to the Packers. The reserve running back and special-teams asset has one more chance to upgrade his practice participation before Sunday's game against the Browns, and he'll likely need to show some improvement Friday to suit up for the game.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Packers' Josh Jacobs: Misses practice, still day-to-day

Jacobs didn't practice Thursday but said afterward that his injured knee is structurally sound, and he considers himself day-to-day as Sunday's game in Denver approaches, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

After sitting out the Packers' Week 12 win over the Vikings due to the knee injury, Jacobs returned to action for both of the team's ensuing two games and handled his typical workloads in both contests. However, Jacobs noted that the knee stiffened up on him in this past Sunday's 28-21 win over the Bears, prompting the Packers to send him in for an MRI on Monday. Though the scan revealed nothing concerning, the Packers have nonetheless held Jacobs out for both of their first two Week 15 practices, which puts a cloud over his status for Sunday. Jacobs would likely assuage some of the concern about his availability for the weekend by practicing Friday, even if only in a limited capacity. In the event Jacobs is forced to miss his second game of the season, Emanuel Wilson would likely step in as Green Bay's lead back, as he did in Week 12.

  • Nick Chubb RB | HOU

Texans' Nick Chubb: Absent again Thursday

Chubb (ribs) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Chubb has missed Houston's first two Week 15 practices after exiting the team's Week 14 win over Kansas City due to a rib injury. Woody Marks (knee) returned to practice Thursday after sitting out Wednesday and will likely continue to work as the lead back Sunday against Arizona, while Dare Ogunbowale could move up to the change-of-pace role usually occupied by Chubb if the veteran running back is ultimately sidelined Sunday. Chubb will likely need to practice in some capacity Friday to avoid being ruled out on Friday's injury report.

  • Woody Marks RB | HOU

Texans' Woody Marks: Back at practice

Marks (knee) participated in practice Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Marks logged a 'DNP' on Wednesday, but the running back's presence at practice a day later has him trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Meanwhile, fellow RB Nick Chubb (ribs) remained sidelined Thursday, with the Texans' upcoming injury report set to reveal Marks' official participation level.

  • Breece Hall RB | NYJ

Jets' Breece Hall: Participating in drills Thursday

Hall (knee) is taking part in positional drills Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Hall sat out practice Wednesday due to knee soreness, but he has returned to practice Thursday, though it remains to be seen if he's listed as a full participant or limited participant. He has yet to miss a game in the 2025 regular season, and Hall is tracking toward his first 1,000-yard rushing campaign, as he needs 123 yards to reach that milestone with four games to play, starting with Sunday's matchup at Jacksonville.

  • Dylan Sampson RB | CLE

Browns' Dylan Sampson: Won't practice Thursday

Sampson (calf/hand) is not in line to practice Thursday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Sampson will miss back-to-back practices to begin Week 15, making his availability for Sunday's road matchup against the Bears look legitimately uncertain. Raheim Sanders and Trayveon Williams will be candidates to handle increased complementary roles behind starting running back Quinshon Judkins if Sampson is unable to play Sunday.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Packers' Josh Jacobs: Set to miss another practice

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that Jacobs (knee) is unlikely to practice Thursday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. "He's been battling through it. We'll see," LaFleur said, regarding Jacobs' status for Sunday's game in Denver.

Jacobs first sustained his knee injury in the Packers' Week 11 win over the Giants, but after sitting out a Week 12 victory over Minnesota, he returned to a leading role out of the backfield for both of the past two games. However, the 27-year-old is feeling a bit more banged up than anticipated after handling 22 touches in this past Sunday's win over the Bears, prompting the Packers to take a cautious approach with him in practice this week. With Jacobs set to go down as a non-participant for the second straight day, he'll likely need to practice in some fashion Friday for fantasy managers to feel good about his chances of playing against Denver.

  • De'Von Achane RB | MIA

Dolphins' De'Von Achane: Slated to be limited Thursday

Achane (ribs) will be limited at Thursday's practice, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

Per Louis-Jacques, Achane will wear a red (non-contact) jersey during Thursday's session, with coach Mike McDaniel noting that "it'll be a gradual increase in activity and physicality" for the running back as the week progresses, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Achane has two more chances to upgrade to full participation before Miami assigns Week 15 game statuses Saturday. If Achane ends up limited or out Monday night against the Steelers, however, Jaylen Wright would be next in line for added backfield touches, with Ollie Gordon also mixing in.

  • Texans' Dare Ogunbowale: Awaits word on injured teammates

Ogunbowale could be Houston's lead back Week 15 as both Woody Marks (knee) and Nick Chubb (ribs) were non participants at Wednesday's practice.

During Sunday's 20-10 win over Kansas City, when Chubb was ruled out early and Marks was forced off the field for one play, Ogunbowale made the most of his one snap, rushing for a five-yard touchdown. He could receive a greater volume of snaps this week against Arizona pending the health situation of the injured backs. Ogunbowale has never been a big factor as a runner; he has just four carries in 13 games this season and never had more than 42 in any of his four seasons with the Texans.

  • Ty Chandler RB | MIN

Vikings' Ty Chandler: Logs full practice Wednesday

Chandler (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Chandler continues to progress in his recovery from a knee injury that he sustained in the Vikings' regular-season opener against the Bears. He would have to be activated from injured reserve in order to play Sunday against the Cowboys, and if he is cleared to play, he would serve as the Vikings' RB3 behind Aaron Jones (shoulder) and Jordan Mason.
