Jets' Breece Hall: Listed questionable for Week 7
Hall (quadriceps) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Hall appears to have a chance to return after missing the Jets' previous three games with the quadriceps issue, but he did just return to practice Thursday, so his status appears to genuinely be up in the air. If Hall isn't cleared to play, Braelon Allen would make another start in the backfield and handle the lion's share of the opportunities in a beautiful matchup against Miami's bad run defense.

Jets' Breece Hall: Officially limited Thursday
Hall (quadriceps) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice.
Hall logged his first practice participation of any kind since a second-half exit against the Lions back in Week 3. He moved well in his return to practice, per Brian Costello of the New York Post, though Costello also notes that Hall went to the rehab area after individual drills rather than taking part in teams drills. Hall will likely need to log a full practice Friday to avoid a questionable designation for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Braelon Allen has enjoyed a near-monopoly on backfield touches for the Jets while Hall has been sidelined.

Jets' Breece Hall: Taking part in team stretch
Hall (quadriceps) was stretching with the rest of the team at the beginning of Thursday's practice, Antwan Staley of the New York Daily News reports.
Hall is present for the start of Thursday's practice and looks ready to practice in at least some capacity for the first time since he injured his quadriceps during the Jets' Week 3 loss to Detroit. Braelon Allen has filled in capably while starting the past three games in Hall's absence. If Hall, who didn't practice Wednesday, ultimately gets the green light to face Miami on Sunday, he and Allen would likely both see involvement against the winless Dolphins. Prior to getting hurt, Hall had been receiving the majority of touches over Allen.

Jets' Breece Hall: Not practicing, but could play Week 7
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said that Hall (quadriceps) won't practice Wednesday but hasn't been ruled out from playing Sunday versus the Dolphins, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
At the beginning of each of the previous three weeks, Glenn had classified Hall as being "week-to-week" in his recovery from a right quad issue, but the coach didn't apply that same label to the running back to begin Week 7 prep. Though Hall isn't yet ready to practice after missing the Jets' previous three games, he could be able to get back on the field in some capacity Thursday and/or Friday, which would leave the door open for him to suit up Sunday. Whenever Hall returns, he'll reclaim starting duties out of the backfield, though Glenn acknowledged that Braelon Allen is "going to get touches, too" after impressing while filling in for Hall over the past three contests, per Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic.

Jets' Breece Hall: Ruled out for Sunday's game
Hall (quadriceps) is out for Sunday's game, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
With Hall set to miss a third straight contest, Braelon Allen is in line for another start. Hall still hasn't returned to practice and thus looks uncertain for Week 7.

Jets' Breece Hall: Works off to the side Thursday
Hall (quadriceps) is working on a side field with trainers at Thursday's practice, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Hall is expected to go down as a non-participant in practice once again Thursday since he isn't taking part in individual or team drills, but he's at least showing some incremental signs of progress in his recovery from a quadriceps injury he sustained during the Jets' Week 3 loss to the Lions. He has missed the team's last two games, with Braelon Allen stepping into the lead role at running back. Allen is expected to continue working as the top backfield option for the Jets against the Patriots on Sunday, barring an unexpectedly fast recovery from Hall.

Jets' Breece Hall: Not practicing, still week-to-week
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said that Hall (quadriceps) won't practice Wednesday and remains week-to-week, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
Hall hasn't practiced in any fashion since sustaining a right quad injury in the Jets' Week 3 loss to the Lions. With Glenn still classifying him as week-to-week, Hall looks to be trending toward missing a third consecutive game Sunday at New England. Hall's expected absence should once again clear the way for Braelon Allen to handle a lead role out of the backfield.

Jets' Breece Hall: Ruled out for Sunday
Hall (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Browns, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
With Hall set to miss another contest, Braelon Allen is positioned to continue handling the lead role in the Jets' backfield after he logged 32 of 34 offensive snaps in Hall's absence last Sunday against the Bears. Hall remains week-to-week, and his next chance to play will be Week 6 against the Patriots.

Jets' Breece Hall: Remains absent Thursday
Hall (quadriceps) wasn't present for warmups at the start of Thursday's practice, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
Hall's continued absence isn't surprising after head coach Aaron Glenn recently described the running back as week-to-week. If Hall sits as expected Sunday against the Browns, Braelon Allen would be poised to take on another heavy workload after accounting for all 16 touches by Jets running backs in the Week 4 loss to Chicago.

Jets' Breece Hall: Sits out practice Wednesday
Hall (quadriceps) didn't practice Wednesday.
Hall's continued absence from practice comes as little surprise after head coach Aaron Glenn said prior to Wednesday's session that the running back is week-to-week. With Hall looking likely to miss a second straight game Sunday versus the Browns, Braelon Allen should be in store for another turn as the Jets' lead back.

Jets' Breece Hall: Remains week-to-week
Head coach Aaron Glenn said Wednesday that Hall (quadriceps) remains week-to-week, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
Hall seems certain to miss at least one more game with his quad injury. After Braelon Allen played 32 of 34 offensive snaps in last Sunday's loss to the Bears, he should once again be expected to handle an every-down, bellcow role in Sunday's home date with the Browns. Allen is a locked-in fantasy RB2 with RB1 upside.
