  • Kyle Monangai RB | CHI

Bears' Kyle Monangai: Logs limited practice Thursday

Monangai (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.

One day removed from logging no on-field work due to an ankle injury Wednesday, Monangai was back in the mix, which generally is a positive sign as the Bears prepare for Sunday's visit to the Packers. Friday's practice report will unveil if he enters the weekend with a designation for Week 14 action, but if he's able to suit up, he likely will continue to see regular work out of Chicago's backfield along with D'Andre Swift, which resulted in both players surpassing 120 rushing yards and scoring one TD last Friday at Philadelphia.

  • Trey Benson RB | ARI

Cardinals' Trey Benson: No practice Thursday

Benson (knee) isn't practicing Thursday, Dani Sureck of the Cardinals' official site reports.

With just six days remaining in his 21-day window in which to potentially return from injured reserve and now five straight DNPs dating back to last week, Benson appears to be trending in the wrong direction to play again this season. The Cardinals have been riding the trio of Bam Knight, Michael Carter and Emari Demercado during Benson's absence, and Demercado practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday for the first time since suffering a high-ankle sprain Week 11. Assuming Benson isn't activated by Saturday afternoon, Knight, Carter and Demercado (provided he's active) will be the Cardinals' options out of the backfield Sunday against the Rams.

  • Woody Marks RB | HOU

Texans' Woody Marks: Back at practice Thursday

Marks (ankle) returned to practice Thursday, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Marks was a non-participant in Wednesday's session, so his return to the field a day later aligns with coach DeMeco Ryans' previous comment to Alexander that the running back was among the Texans' initial DNPs who should be fine for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. The team's upcoming injury report will reveal if Marks was limited Thursday or practiced fully.

  • Ty Chandler RB | MIN

Vikings' Ty Chandler: Limited at practice

Chandler (knee) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice.

Chandler was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday morning, and he was back on the practice field soon after. The fourth-year running back hasn't played since Week 1. Chandler strictly played on special teams in that game, and he could have a similar role once he's activated from injured reserve. His first chance will be this Sunday versus the Commanders.

  • Zamir White RB | LV

Raiders' Zamir White: Shakes off illness

White (illness) wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.

White is no longer battling the illness that kept him out of the Week 13 loss to the Chargers. That doesn't mean he'll return to the lineup in Week 14 versus the Broncos, as White was a healthy scratch in the previous seven games.

  • Cardinals' Emari Demercado: Limited in return to practice

Demercado (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Demercado officially was back on the practice field for the first time since he suffered a high-ankle sprain during a Week 11 loss to the 49ers. He'll have two more chances to upgrade to full during Week 14 prep, or he'll be at risk of entering the weekend with a designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Rams. If he's active, Demercado would be in the mix for snaps along with fellow RBs Bam Knight and Michael Carter, while it's unclear if Trey Benson (knee) has a chance to return from IR after he logged a third straight DNP on Wednesday.

  • Trey Benson RB | ARI

Cardinals' Trey Benson: DNP on Wednesday

Benson (knee) was a non-participant in practice Wednesday, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.

On the heels of three straight missed sessions going back to last week, Benson now has one week remaining to prove the health of his knee before his 21-day window to practice expires. If that were to occur, he'd remain on injured reserve for the rest of the campaign. Meanwhile, Emari Demercado practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday for the first time since suffering a high-ankle sprain Week 11. If Benson isn't activated for Week 14 action and Demercado avoids a designation, the latter would join Bam Knight and Michael Carter as the top healthy RBs on Arizona's active roster.

  • Hassan Haskins RB | LAC

Chargers' Hassan Haskins: Back to practice

Haskins (hamstring) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

This opened a 21-day window for Haskins to practice, and he can be activated at any time. The fourth-year running back practiced with the team Wednesday and could return to game action as soon as Sunday versus the Eagles. Once he returns to action, he's unlikely to have much of a role on offense because Omarion Hampton (ankle) is nearing a return and Kimani Vidal should serve as the No. 2 back.

  • Dylan Sampson RB | CLE

Browns' Dylan Sampson: Misses practice Wednesday

    Sampson (calf) didn't practice Wednesday.

Zac Jackson of The Athletic reported Monday that coach Kevin Stefanski considered Sampson -- who was injured in Sunday's loss to the 49ers -- day-to-day ahead of Week 14 action. If Sampson is limited or out this weekend, Jerome Ford would be in line to see added snaps behind top RB Quinshon Judkins, with Raheim Sanders in reserve.

  • Sione Vaki RB | DET

    Lions' Sione Vaki: Deemed questionable

Vaki (thumb) is questionable for Thursday's game versus the Cowboys.

Vaki appeared to pick up a thumb injury during last week's loss to the Packers, putting his status in jeopardy ahead of a crucial game versus the Cowboys. If Vaki -- who has played just two offensive snaps this season -- sits out, Jacob Saylors will serve as the No. 3 running back behind Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery.
