  • Kyle Pitts TE | ATL

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Pops up as limited participant

Pitts (knee) was limited in practice Friday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

Pitts was not listed on Thursday's estimated injury report, but with the Falcons logging on-field work one day later, his limitations may just be maintenance for the knee issue that bothered him before both of the last two games. In any case, the starting tight end's activity level during Saturday's session will be monitored closely. Pitts has broken out in a massive way across his last four regular-season appearances, in which span he's averaged 98.8 receiving yards per game and recorded four touchdowns.

  • Gunnar Helm TE | TEN

Titans' Gunnar Helm: All clear for Week 17

Helm (toe) was limited in practice Friday but does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Saints, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Helm will continue to play through the toe injury he sustained Week 15 versus San Francisco, but the issue didn't prevent him from handling a career-high 52 offensive snaps during Tennessee's win over the Chiefs in Week 16. Expect Helm to continue handling a key role as one of the Titans' top tight ends alongside Chig Okonkwo this weekend.

  • Cam Grandy TE | CIN

Bengals' Cam Grandy: Out for Sunday

Grandy (chest) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.

The 26-year-old didn't practice all week after sustaining a chest injury in the Week 16 win over the Dolphins, so it's no surprise that he'll be sidelined Sunday. While Grandy is out for Week 17, expect Cincinnati's tight-end room to consist of Mike Gesicki, Noah Fant (ankle, questionable), Drew Sample and Tanner Hudson.

  • Noah Fant TE | CIN

Bengals' Noah Fant: Questionable despite full practice

Fant (ankle) has been labeled as questionable to suit up against the Cardinals on Sunday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.

Fant hurt his ankle against Baltimore in Week 15 and didn't play last Sunday against Miami. He was deemed limited for the first two practices of this week before logging a full session Friday. Despite the uncapped practice, Fant's status for Week 17 thus is up in the air, but he's probably more likely than not to be available.

  • Darren Waller TE | MIA

Dolphins' Darren Waller: Cleared to face Buccaneers

Waller (groin/rest) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's home game against Tampa Bay, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Waller began Week 17 as a non-participant at practice and has since been listed as 'limited' in back-to-back sessions. The veteran tight end has regularly had his practice reps impacted for load management purposes and health reasons this season. In rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers' first start in Week 16 against the Bengals, Waller managed a respectable three catches for 40 yards on five targets. Waller again will operate as one of Ewers' clear top options in the receiving game versus the Buccaneers on Sunday.

  • Saints' Foster Moreau: Shifts to IR

Moreau (ankle) was placed on the injured reserve list Friday.

The 28-year-old from LSU had already been ruled out for the Week 17 matchup against the Titans due to an ankle injury, but he's since moved to IR and will miss the remainder of the season. In 11 appearances this season, Moreau caught seven of 10 targets for 46 yards. Expect Taysom Hill and Jack Stoll to have larger roles in the Saints' tight-end corps over the final two games of the campaign.

  • Browns' Harold Fannin: Intends to play Sunday

Fannin (groin) said Friday that he plans to suit up for Sunday's contest against the Steelers, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Fannin was added to Friday's injury report and officially is labeled as questionable for Week 17, but the rookie third-round pick said the Browns are simply being precautionary due to a tweak he sustained during practice. David Njoku (knee) is already ruled out for Sunday's divisional matchup, positioning Fannin to again operate as one of Shedeur Sanders' top targets in the receiving game Week 17. Fannin's status will be made official roughly 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, if not before.

  • Dawson Knox TE | BUF

Bills' Dawson Knox: Questionable to face Eagles

Knox (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Philadelphia.

Both Knox and fellow tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee) officially are listed as questionable for Week 17 after having logged DNP/DNP/LP practice slates. Either Knox or Kincaid will stand to benefit from a slight uptick in opportunities if they are able to suit up while the other is sidelined. Meanwhile, rookie Jackson Hawes will inherit a substantial role in the event that both Knox and Kincaid are unable to play versus the Eagles. Full clarity on the state of Buffalo's tight end corps will arrive no later than 90 minutes ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Out for Sunday

Ogletree (neck) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.

The Youngstown State product opened the Colts' week of practice with consecutive DNPs after sustaining a neck injury in the Week 16 loss to the 49ers, so it's no surprise that he won't play Sunday. Ogletree has appeared in 15 games this season, catching four of six targets for 27 yards and a touchdown. Expect Will Mallory to operate as Indianapolis' No. 3 tight end in Ogletree's stead in Week 17.

  • Dalton Kincaid TE | BUF

Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Officially questionable for Week 17

Kincaid (knee) was limited in practice Friday and is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles.

Kincaid was listed as a non-participant at practice Wednesday and Thursday, so it's encouraging that he was able to upgrade to at least some reps Friday. Fellow tight end Dawson Knox (knee) also is listed as questionable after having logged identical practice activity during Week 17 prep. The statuses of both players will be made official roughly 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.
