Jaroslav Halak: Hangs up skates

Halak announced his retirement from professional hockey Friday, RDS.ca reports.

Halak saw action in 581 NHL games over his 17-year career, posting a 295-189-69 record, .915 save percentage and 2.50 GAA. Over the course of his lengthy career, Halak twice took home the William Jennings Trophy as part of the top goaltending duo in the NHL.
