  • Esa Lindell D | DAL

Stars' Esa Lindell: Two-point effort Wednesday

Lindell collected two assists while adding five blocked shots, one hit, one shot on net and a plus-3 rating in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Devils.

It was Lindell's first multi-point performance since Oct. 14, while the five blocked shots were his highest total since he rang up seven blocks Nov. 20 against the Canucks. Lindell is putting together another strong defensive campaign for the Stars, producing three goals, 10 points, 57 blocked shots and a plus-16 rating through 28 games.

  • Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Two points including game-winner

Heiskanen scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Wednesday's 3-0 victory over the Devils.

The 26-year-old blueliner opened the scoring midway through the second period by going high blocker side from the faceoff circle to the left of Jacob Markstrom, and that was all the offense Jake Oettinger would need. Heiskanen snapped a 14-game goal drought with the tally, and on the season he's produced four goals and 24 points in 28 contests, including 10 points (one goal, nine helpers) on the power play.

  • Lightning's Ryan McDonagh: Re-ups with Bolts

McDonagh (undisclosed) agreed to terms on a three-year, $12.3 million contract extension with Tampa Bay on Thursday.

McDonagh -- who is currently on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury -- is on his second stint with the Lightning, having spent five seasons with the organization from 2017-2022. Prior to getting hurt, the veteran blueliner was chipping in well offensively with three goals and three helpers in 15 appearances. While McDonagh won't be much of a factor with the man advantage, he should still be capable of pushing for the 30-point threshold -- assuming he gets back into the lineup sooner rather than later.

  • Mammoth's Maveric Lamoureux: Posts helper in season debut

Lamoureux recorded an assist, two hits, three blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-4 rating in Wednesday's 7-0 win over the Ducks.

This was Lamoureux's first outing with the Mammoth this season after racking up nine helpers in 19 games with AHL Tucson. The 21-year-old will get a chance to establish himself as a physical presence in a bottom-four role after the Mammoth decided Dmitri Simashev needed some developmental time with the Roadrunners. Lamoureux had three points in 15 games for Utah last season, and he could chip in enough offense to be intriguing in fantasy if he sticks in the lineup over Nick DeSimone.

  • Sean Durzi D | UTA

Mammoth's Sean Durzi: First point since return

Durzi logged an assist, three shots on goal and three blocked shots in Wednesday's 7-0 win over the Ducks.

The helper was Durzi's first point in five games since he recovered from an upper-body injury that cost him six weeks. The 27-year-old blueliner has two helpers, 10 shots on net, 13 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a minus-4 rating over seven appearances this season. While his numbers aren't all that great, Durzi is still seeing top-four usage and time on the second power-play unit.

  • Ian Cole D | UTA

Mammoth's Ian Cole: Good all-around effort in big win

Cole scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, blocked two shots, logged two PIM and went plus-5 in Wednesday's 7-0 win over the Ducks.

Cole is rarely a big contributor on offense, but he was right in the middle of a breakout performance for the Mammoth. He set up Dylan Guenther on the team's second goal before scoring the third one himself. Through 28 appearances, Cole is at two goals, 11 points, 23 shots on net, 31 hits, 59 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-11 rating. He's been a bottom-four fixture in the lineup, but he's on track to top the 20-point mark for the first time since 2019-20.

  • Capitals' Dylan McIlrath: Limited playing time since injury

McIlrath was scratched for the sixth time in eight games in Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Sharks.

Despite John Carlson (upper body) being out, the Capitals opted to bring in left-shot blueliner Declan Chisholm rather than a righty in McIlrath. Sidelined by a lower-body injury for the first five games of the season, McIlrath has seen action in just three games since his Oct. 19 activation from injured reserve. He's earned no points while adding seven hits and two blocked shots. The 33-year-old provides toughness when he plays, but as part of an eight-man blue line on the Capitals' roster, his opportunities are few and far between.

  • Capitals' Declan Chisholm: Gathers helper in win

Chisholm notched an assist and went plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Sharks.

Chisholm has been out of the lineup more often than not this season, but he got to play Wednesday because John Carlson (upper body) was out. Chisholm picked up his second helper of the year when he set up Sonny Milano's goal in the first period. For the season, Chisholm has added eight shots on net, nine blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 11 appearances. When he plays, he's likely to be confined to the third pairing, limiting his already minimal appeal in fantasy.

  • Capitals' Trevor van Riemsdyk: Earns two assists in win

Van Riemsdyk logged two assists, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Sharks.

Van Riemsdyk ended a nine-game slump when he helped out on goals by Sonny Milano and Ryan Leonard in the first period. In that stretch, van Riemsdyk was also scratched five times. The 34-year-old is in a part-time role this year, competing with Dylan McIlrath and Declan Chisholm for third-pairing minutes. Van Riemsdyk is at four points, 14 shots on net, 25 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a plus-2 rating through 21 appearances.

  • Matt Roy D | WAS

Capitals' Matt Roy: Contributes trio of helpers

Roy notched three assists, two shots on goal, four blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Sharks.

Roy has five helpers over his last five games, and he's added 14 blocks and a plus-6 rating in that span. The 30-year-old continues to see ample playing time in a top-four role, though mostly in a defensive capacity. He's at one goal, eight assists, 37 shots on net, 63 blocked shots, 30 hits and a plus-19 rating over 28 appearances. Roy is on track to top the 20-point mark for the fifth year in a row, but he might miss out on the 100-hit threshold.
