Mets third baseman David Wright was removed from Sunday's game due to a muscle spasm on the side of his neck, the team announced.
Wright dealt with shoulder soreness last weekend before developing the new injury Sunday. He went 1 for 2 for a run scored before exiting. Wright has hit .266/.324/.368 with eight home runs, 56 RBI and six stolen bases in 489 at-bats.
