Happy Anniversary: Dock Ellis throws a no-hitter on LSD
On this date in 1970, Dock Ellis threw a no-hitter while high on LSD.
Forty-four years ago today, Pirates right-hander Dock Ellis no-hit the Padres while on LSD. There is no "reportedly" here. Ellis has fully admitted to being high during the game.
