Seems like nobody wanted the Blue Jays' R.A. Dickey this draft season. He's the ace on a good number of my Fantasy teams. Normally, I don't aim to get a true ace, but the value on him was too good to pass up. He had a 2.84 ERA and 1.19 WHIP last year, for crying out loud.

Oh, wait. Those were his numbers in 2010.

Yes, Dickey has been solid for three years in a row now. The biggest change for him last year was an improved strikeout rate, which you could argue won't continue. I personally think it will considering he maintained it all of last year and will be facing hitters unfamiliar with his knuckleball this year, but whatever. Your call.

What I don't think you can argue is that, apart from injury, Dickey will crash and burn this year. He has too much of a track record -- three years now, honestly -- suggesting otherwise.
