Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Joins 40-40 club Thursday
Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-3 with a walk, stolen base and a strikeout during Thursday's 2-1 win over the Marlins.
With his stolen base Thursday, Crow-Armstrong officially joined the illustrious club of just six other players with 40 home runs and 40 stolen bases in a single season. The 24-year-old swiped his 40th bag after drawing a walk in the first inning against Tyler Phillips. The young phenom has cemented his MVP campaign, batting .280/.373/.575 with 45 homers, 107 RBI, 40 stolen bases and 82 walks over 716 plate appearances this season.

Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Stays hot in easy win Sunday
Crow-Armstrong went 3-for-5 with a double, a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's 9-1 win over the Reds. He also stole a base.
The star outfielder is following up a scintillating August with a big final month of the regular season, as he's now sporting a .946 OPS with six stolen bases, seven home runs and 16 RBI across 18 September contests. Overall, Crow-Armstrong is up to 45 long balls and 38 steals, putting him within shouting distance of just the seventh 40-40 campaign in MLB history. If he swipes two bases and goes deep five more times in the final week, Crow-Armstrong will be just the second player in MLB history to reach 50 homers and 40 steals, joining Shohei Ohtani during his incredible 2024 campaign, when he was unanimously named National League MVP. Crow-Armstrong seems well on his way to taking home that award this year.

Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Huge performance against Atlanta
Crow-Armstrong went 3-for-4 with a triple, two home runs, three RBI and an additional run scored during Wednesday's 8-4 win over Atlanta.
Crow-Armstrong strengthened his case for National League MVP on Wednesday with another multi-HR game -- his seventh of the season -- while hustling out an RBI triple in the fifth inning. He's already set career highs in homers (44), RBI (105) and stolen bases (37) across 687 plate appearances this year, and he has just over a week left in the regular season to record the seventh 40-40 season in major-league history and first in Cubs franchise history.

Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Another MVP performance in win
Crow-Armstrong went 4-for-5 with a double, a home run and four total RBI in Monday's 7-3 win over Atlanta. He also stole a base.
The superstar outfielder came into the contest in a mini 0-for-8 slump over his last two games, but he bounced back in a big way and showed why he's the frontrunner for National League MVP. Crow-Armstrong has already recorded new career highs with 42 home runs and 37 stolen bases, and he'll register the first 40-40 campaign in Cubs' history and just the seventh in MLB history if he swipes three more bags over his team's final 11 games. The 24-year-old is a truly elite fantasy option who still has room for growth as his career progresses.
