Alldred cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Alldred was designated for assignment by Pittsburgh on Tuesday, but he'll remain in the organization. The 25-year-old has posted a 2.42 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 22.1 innings over 11 appearances (two start) in the minors this year.

Alldred had his contract selected May 11 and delivered a scoreless frame in his MLB debut before being demoted two days later, and he's now been removed from the Pirates' 40-man roster. Alldred had his contract selected Wednesday and made his MLB debut the next day, throwing a scoreless inning of relief against the Reds. He'll head back to the minors as the Pirates clear space for Tyler Beede, who was claimed off waivers from the Giants.

The Pirates selected Alldred's contract from Triple-A Indianapolis on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old lefty will receive his first big-league call-up, joining the Pittsburgh bullpen as a replacement for right-hander Beau Sulser, who was optioned to Indianapolis. Over his eight appearances (one start) at Indianapolis this season, Alldred has turned in a 1.53 ERA and 0.85 WHIP across 17.2 innings. He'll be available as a multi-inning option out of the bullpen in Wednesday's game against the Dodgers behind Dillon Peters, who is scheduled to work as an opener rather than a traditional starter.
