  • Brewers' Josh Maciejewski: Lands with Milwaukee

Maciejewski signed a minor-league contract with the Brewers on Friday, Ari Alexander of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Maciejewski was able to reach the big leagues for the first time in 2024, allowing two earned runs in seven innings across four appearances with the Yankees. He didn't find similar success in the minor leagues, however, accumulating a 5.37 ERA and 1.48 WHIP over 60.1 Triple-A frames. The 29-year-old southpaw will almost certainly fill in as bullpen depth at Triple-A Nashville.

The Yankees outrighted Maciejewski to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday, per MLB.com.

The lefty reliever has impressed through four games in the majors this season, posting a 7:2 K:BB while allowing two runs over seven innings. However, he's been much less effective in the minors, registering a 6.25 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 60:24 K:BB across 59 frames between Double-A and Triple-A.

The Yankees designated Maciejewski for assignment Sunday.

Maciejewski made four appearances for New York and allowed two earned runs with a 7:2 K:BB across seven innings, though he's struggled to a 6.02 ERA in 16 appearances with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

The Yankees designated Maciejewski for assignment Saturday, YES Network reports.

Less than a week after being selected from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Maciejewski will head back to the minors and lose his roster spot after making just one appearance with the Yankees. The 28-year-old southpaw has not allowed a run and has struck out five batters through 4.2 Triple-A innings.

  • Yankees' Josh Maciejewski: Contract selected

The Yankees selected Maciejewski's contract from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday.

Maciejewski split most of last season between the Double-A and Triple-A levels and had a 2.96 ERA and 50:14 in 45.2 innings over 30 total appearances. He should fill a low-leverage relief role in his first taste of the big leagues with the Yankees.
