What you need to know about the Thunder

The Thunder ended up a good deal behind the Philadelphia 76ers when they played on Sunday, losing 115-103. Oklahoma City's defeat came about despite a quality game from guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who had 29 points and eight assists along with six boards. For the season, Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 20.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.

The Thunder have struggled on their home court, winning just one of their last 13 games at home. Oklahoma City has also lost 16 of its last 17 meetings against an opponent from the Western Conference.

What you need to know about the Warriors

Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the contest between Golden State and the Sacramento Kings on Sunday was still a pretty decisive one as Golden State wrapped it up with a 119-107 win on the road. Golden State can attribute much of its success to point guard Stephen Curry, who posted a double-double with 27 points and 10 assists in addition to seven rebounds. Curry has posted a double-double in two of his first three games this season.

The Warriors enter Tuesday's matchup averaging 118.3 points per game, which ranks fourth in the NBA. Golden State is also 4-1 against the spread in its last five games on the road against Oklahoma City.
