Rockets' Jae'Sean Tate: Will sit out Monday
Tate is out for Monday's game against the Warriors due to right ankle injury maintenance, Adam Wexler of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
As has been the case recently, Tate will be sidelined for part of Houston's back-to-back set to manage a lingering ankle issue. In his absence, Josh Christopher and Tari Eason are candidates for increased roles.

Tate could be rested Monday against the Warriors, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The Rockets have been sitting Tate for one leg of their back-to-back sets, and it sounds like that will continue Monday. Feigen speculates that we could see TyTy Washington get an opportunity for some minutes against the Warriors.

Rockets' Jae'Sean Tate: Not listed on injury report
Tate (ankle) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Spurs.
Tate skipped the first leg of this back-to-back, but he'll be back in action Sunday evening, which may result in fewer minutes for Tari Eason and Usman Garuba. Tate should be good to go for minutes in the high-teens to lower-20s in this one, but he won't do much for you outside of scoring.

Rockets' Jae'Sean Tate: Sitting out Saturday
Tate won't play in Saturday's game versus the Spurs due to right ankle injury maintenance.

Rockets' Jae'Sean Tate: Slated to play Wednesday
Tate (rest) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game versus the Grizzlies.
Given that rest was the reason for Tate's absence Tuesday in the front end of a back-to-back set, his omission from Wednesday's injury report doesn't arrive as a surprise. Tate's starting status could hinge on whether Kevin Porter (foot), who is questionable, returns against Memphis.

The Rockets will hold Tate out of the first leg of this back-to-back set, but he should return to the floor for Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies. Expect more burn for Josh Christopher and Tari Eason with Tate watching from the sidelines Tuesday night.

Rockets' Jae'Sean Tate: Third straight in double figures
Tate recorded 17 points (7-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds and two assists across 25 minutes during Sunday's 131-114 loss to the Trail Blazers.
Tate missed both of his three-pointers but was efficient from inside the arc en route to his third straight game in double figures. During that stretch, the undrafted forward out of Ohio State has averaged 14.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 24.0 minutes per game. As long as Jalen Green (groin) and Kevin Porter (foot) remain out, Tate is a candidate for increased offensive responsibilities within Houston's offense.

Rockets' Jae'Sean Tate: Strong two-way effort Friday
Tate provided 14 points (6-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, four assists and three steals in 28 minutes during Friday's 116-101 loss to Golden State.
Tate had arguably his best game of the season, producing on both ends of the floor despite the loss. The Rockets have now lost eight straight games, leaning heavily into what will end up being another lost season. Tate has started in four consecutive games, although prior to Friday his production had been mediocre, at best. He could be considered in deeper formats, but for those in standard leagues, there is likely to be a more appealing player available on waivers.
