  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Massive double-double in loss

Wilson tallied 30 points (10-24 FG, 1-9 3Pt, 9-11 FT), 14 rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block across 38 minutes in Saturday's 124-120 loss to the Wizards.

After dropping 21 points in Friday's win over Milwaukee, Wilson erupted for a game-high 30 points in the second half of this back-to-back set, though he did struggle from beyond the arc. The rookie forward also tied for the game-high mark in rebounds. He's the first player since Terry Cummings in 1982-83 to record at least 30 points and 14 rebounds in one of his first three career games, per the broadcast.

  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Nets 21 points with full line in win

Wilson produced 21 points (7-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one steal, two blocks and three turnovers across 33 minutes in Friday's 132-125 win over the Bucks.

Wilson did a much better job of picking his spots offensively and limiting his turnovers in his second NBA game, while coming through with some game-saving plays on defense in the closing seconds of regulation. Additionally, after shooting just 33.3 percent from the free-throw line in Summer League, he's converted 75 percent of his freebies through the first two games of the regular season.

  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Scores 16 points with three steals

Wilson recorded 16 points (7-21 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, three steals and one block over 32 minutes in Wednesday's 135-92 season-opening loss to the Raptors.

While the counting stats were nice, the rookie did not score efficiently and also finished with a game-high nine turnovers. Poor shooting and turnover issues tend to come with rookies, but Wilson will need to do a better job of taking care of the rock in Friday's game in Milwaukee.

  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Leads Bulls in scoring Friday

Wilson finished with 16 points (7-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt), seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks across 23 minutes in Friday's 133-116 preseason victory over the Timberwolves.

Wilson had another strong showing Friday, leading the Bulls in points while picking up his fifth consecutive preseason double-digit scoring performance. The 2026 No. 4 overall pick will be thrust into a meaningful role immediately, so his name could be mentioned often in Rookie of the Year conversations throughout the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Productive with first unit

Wilson posted 10 points (4-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 24 minutes in Wednesday's 125-104 preseason victory against the Bucks.

Wilson received another opportunity to work with Chicago's starting unit but struggled with his outside shot, missing four of five attempts from beyond the arc. The rookie forward also committed four turnovers, highlighting some growing pains despite his contributions across several categories. He'll look to build on his preseason experience as he adjusts to the NBA level.

  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Strong preseason continues Sunday

Wilson played 25 minutes in Sunday's preseason loss to the Nuggets, scoring 17 points (6-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-7 FT) and adding five assists, four rebounds and a block.

The rookie led Chicago's starting five in minutes and points, although he also committed a game-high five turnovers. Through three exhibition contests, Wilson is averaging 28.7 minutes, 17.7 points, 3.7 boards, 2.3 assists and 2.0 threes while shooting 47.6 percent from the floor and 31.6 percent from beyond the arc, as he prepares for a significant role in the rotation to begin his NBA career.

  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Drills five triples in preseason loss

Wilson finished Friday's 104-100 preseason loss to the Grizzlies with 21 points (7-17 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 2-6 FT), four rebounds and one steal across 32 minutes.

Wilson struggled to get going in the first half, during which he scored one point while shooting 0-for-2 from the field in 16 minutes. However, he erupted for 20 points and shot 5-for-10 from downtown in the second half, finishing with a game-high 21 points. The rookie No. 4 overall pick has led the Bulls in scoring in both of their preseason games, totaling 36 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals over 61 minutes.

  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Leading scorer in preseason win

Wilson scored a team-high 15 points (6-15 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT) while contributing three rebounds, two assists and a steal over 29 minutes in Wednesday's preseason win over the Suns.

The Bulls got balanced scoring up and down the lineup, as six different players delivered 13 or more points, but Wilson's 15 led the way. The fourth overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft is set to be Chicago's starting power forward Opening Night, and while his willingness to chuck it up from long range is encouraging for his long-term fantasy outlook, it's likely to be a drag on his scoring efficiency as a rookie.

  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Adjusting to NBA practices

Wilson is acclimating to NBA practices, per K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network.

"Honestly, my first two days, it seemed like everything was moving so fast because you're going against NBA talent and everybody's athletic, and the gaps close really fast. But now, it's way more chill. [Friday] was a really good day for me," Wilson said. After Wilson was selected by the Bulls with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, the rookie forward is expected to be thrust into a big role immediately and is being treated as a mid-round player in most fantasy drafts.
