Bulls' Mac McClung: Pops for 13 points off bench
McClung contributed 13 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and one steal across 18 minutes during Sunday's 149-128 loss to the Mavericks.
After signing a one-year, two-way contract with the Bulls in February, McClung got a chance to show what he's capable of at the NBA level down the stretch. The explosive guard still averaged just 6.0 points, 1.1 assists and 0.8 rebounds in 12.6 minutes per tilt through eight games for Chicago this season, so McClung is more likely to open next year with a G League club rather than an NBA team.

Bulls' Mac McClung: Remains limited in loss
McClung recorded seven points (2-4 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound and one assist in 10 minutes during Friday's 127-103 loss to the Magic.
Although McClung has now appeared in six straight games, Chicago still refuses to play him more than about 15 minutes per contest. In contrast, the team continues to prioritize a player like Patrick Williams, who, despite multiple chances, has failed to impress at any point throughout his career. If, for some reason, McClung is handed the keys for the final game of the season, it should at least make for interesting viewing.

Bulls' Mac McClung: Available to play
McClung (abdomen) is available for Friday's game against the Knicks.
The Bulls' backcourt is healthy for Friday's game, so it could be tough for McClung to get into the rotation. In two appearances for the Bulls this season, McClung has posted averages of 6.0 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.

Bulls' Mac McClung: Probable for Friday
McClung (abdomen) is probable for Friday's game against the Knicks.
McClung is likely to play through right abdominal tightness Friday. The explosive guard could see an expanded role if one or both of Josh Giddey (hamstring) and Tre Jones (ankle) sit out versus New York.

Bulls' Mac McClung: Back in rotation Wednesday
McClung closed Wednesday's 145-126 loss to the Pacers with eight points (3-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one block in 11 minutes.
McClung played just his fifth game of the season and his first in almost two months. Despite the fact that he has been showing out in the G League, McClung has been unable to force his way into the Bulls' rotation. While it was good to see him out there, fantasy managers would need to see a sustained role before considering him.

Bulls' Mac McClung: Off injury report
McClung (hamstring) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.
McClung missed the G League Windy City Bulls' regular-season finale due to a right hamstring issue but is set to be available for the parent club against Indiana. However, the two-way player isn't guaranteed to see the floor for Chicago.

Bulls' Mac McClung: Lands two-way deal with Chicago
McClung (calf) signed a two-way contract with the Bulls on Thursday.
After being cut loose by the Pacers in early November, McClung caught on with the Bulls' G League affiliate, the Windy City Bulls. Over 24 games for Windy City, McClung averaged 25.4 points, 7.2 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 2.3 three-pointers, 1.3 steals and 0.7 blocks in 37.4 minutes per contest. He hadn't taken the floor for Windy City since Jan. 28 due to a right calf injury, but McClung is apparently back to full health. Jake Fischer of BleacherReport.com notes that McClung will join the Bulls in Toronto for Thursday's game against the Raptors, and the 27-year-old guard will likely be part of the rotation while Chicago is shorthanded after executing several trades in recent days.

Mac McClung: Waived by Indiana
The Pacers waived McClung on Thursday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
After three appearances with the Pacers, McClung will now seek opportunities elsewhere. With the open roster spot, the Pacers will be adding Monte Morris. McClung is likely to draw plenty of interest with a standout resume in the G League.

Pacers' Mac McClung: Leads bench in loss
McClung closed with 12 points (5-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three steals and two rebounds in 19 minutes during Friday's 128-108 loss to the Hawks.
While he struggled mightily from three-point range, McClung led Indiana's second unit in scoring. He was one of five Indiana players to score in double figures. Additionally, the 26-year-old tied the game-high mark in steals. McClung should continue to see meaningful playing time with the Pacers' backcourt plagued by injuries to multiple key contributors.

Pacers' Mac McClung: Inks pact with Indiana
McClung signed a multi-year contract with the Pacers on Monday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
McClung will get an opportunity with the injury-depleted Pacers after being signed and subsequently waived by the Bulls in mid-October. The 26-year-old guard spent the 2024-25 campaign on a two-way contract with the Magic but appeared in just two games with the parent club. Over 44 outings with the G League's Osceola Magic last season, he averaged 23.0 points, 5.3 assists and 3.9 rebounds across 32.4 minutes per game. In a corresponding move, the Pacers waived James Wiseman.

Mac McClung: Landing with Chicago
McClung and the Bulls agreed to a deal Friday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
There isn't much time left for McClung to make an impact at Bulls training camp. However, the explosive guard is a prime candidate to join the G League's Windy City Bulls if he's ultimately waived ahead of the new season.
