Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Questionable for Saturday
Pippen (back) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Kings.
Pippen has appeared in all five of the Grizzlies' regular-season games, though he's now in danger of missing Saturday's meeting with Sacramento. With Ty Jerome (back) also questionable, Pippen might find himself in the starting lineup. However, if neither of those players can suit up, Cam Spencer may get the start.

Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Questionable versus Kings
Jerome (back) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Kings.
This isn't the first mention of Jerome's nagging back issue, though it didn't stop him from suiting up for the 124-103 win over the Trail Blazers on Thursday. The 29-year-old has played at an All-Star level in his five regular-season appearances in 2026-27, averaging 25.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 5.8 assists, all career highs, along with 1.0 steals in 29.8 minutes per contest. With that in mind, if Jerome can't get on the floor Saturday versus Sacramento, Cam Spencer and Scotty Pippen (back) are candidates for more minutes.

Grizzlies' Quinten Post: Doubtful for Saturday
Post (ankle) is doubtful for Saturday's game against the Kings.
A right ankle sprain is expected to cost Post at least one contest. Assuming he's eventually downgraded to out, more playing time should fall into the hands of Isaiah Stewart as the No. 2 center Saturday.

Grizzlies' Cam Spencer: Earning more playing time
Spencer produced eight points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, eight assists and two steals across 23 minutes during Thursday's 124-103 win over Portland.
Spencer registered season highs in both boards and dimes Thursday, leading the second unit in the latter category. Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal believes Spencer has leapfrogged Scotty Pippen in the backcourt rotation hierarchy, so Spencer's stock in fantasy looks to be very much on the rise.

Grizzlies' Jaylen Wells: Empty performance Thursday
Wells logged 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-7 3Pt) and one rebound across 25 minutes during Thursday's 124-103 win over the Trail Blazers.
Wells scored double digits for the fifth straight game to begin the season, but offered very little in terms of supporting numbers. While he is technically a top 100 player this season, he is averaging just 13.8 points, 2.2 three-pointers and 1.2 steals in 28.1 minutes per game. His overall value is being fueled by unsustainable shooting, currently sitting at 56.8 percent from the field. Looking forward, he should be viewed as nothing more than a points streamer, outside of deeper leagues.

Grizzlies' Isaiah Stewart: Scores season-high 18 points
Stewart ended with 18 points (7-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one block across 16 minutes during Thursday's 124-103 victory over Portland.
Stewart dropped a season-high 18 points, although a lack of peripheral stats continues to be an issue. Having appeared in four games thus far, he has averaged just 9.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 17.5 minutes per game. Assuming Zach Edey's playing time continues to ramp up, there isn't much hope for Stewart being anything more than a situational streaming consideration.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Rough night Thursday
Pippen recorded two points (1-1 FG) across 14 minutes during Thursday's 124-103 win over the Trail Blazers.
Pippen's underwhelming start to the season continued Thursday, playing fewer than 15 minutes for the second straight game. Despite some chatter heading into the season that he could battle Ty Jerome for the starting point guard position, it is clear that he is simply not in the discussion at the moment. Through five appearances, he has averaged just 6.4 points, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 16.0 minutes per game.

Grizzlies' Cameron Boozer: Secures first career triple-double
Boozer totaled 18 points (6-10 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds and 12 assists in 28 minutes during Thursday's 124-103 win over Portland.
Boozer carried his team to victory by making an impact on both ends of the court. He scored with efficiency, particularly from beyond the arc, and he did his usual damage on the glass. Boozer also flashed his playmaking ability, resulting in a team-high 12 dimes and the first triple-double of his young NBA career. The 19-year-old has now scored in double figures in four of his first five games following a quiet seven-point debut Oct. 21 against Utah.

Grizzlies' Quinten Post: Unable to return Thursday
Post (ankle) didn't return to Thursday's game against Portland. He recorded 10 points (3-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and four rebounds in seven minutes before exiting.
Post was off to a great start to Thursday's clash, and he may have had a significant opportunity to do damage in the second half if he hadn't tweaked his ankle, considering Zach Edey picked up four fouls before halftime. The severity of Post's injury isn't known at this time, and he can be considered day-to-day leading up to Saturday's game against Sacramento.

Grizzlies' Quinten Post: Doubtful to return Thursday
Post is doubtful to return to Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers due to a right ankle injury.
Post appeared to step on an opposing player's foot and had to hobble off the court after the play. Zach Edey had four fouls in the first half, which likely means Isaiah Stewart and Taylor Hendricks will see more minutes down the stretch, assuming Post is unable to return.

Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Available Thursday
Jerome (back) is available for Thursday's game at Portland.
Jerome was added to the injury report less than an hour before tipoff, though he was cleared to play after going through pregame warmups. The veteran guard has been spectacular through four regular-season games, averaging 29.8 points, 6.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 triples and 0.8 steals in 31.3 minutes per contest.

Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Late addition to injury report
Jerome is questionable for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers due to back tightness.
Jerome was added to the injury report less than one hour before tipoff, so it appears the back issue recently popped up. The team should have another update on his availability shortly.

Grizzlies' Jerami Grant: Chips in 13 points off bench
Grant supplied 13 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds and one block in 23 minutes during Monday's 110-105 victory over Utah.
The veteran forward paced the second unit in scoring Monday. In spite of the reserve role, Grant should continue to play meaningful minutes on a regular basis to begin the campaign for the rebuilding Grizzlies.

Grizzlies' Jaylen Wells: Scores empty 14 points Monday
Wells accumulated 14 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and three rebounds over 30 minutes during Monday's 110-105 victory over the Jazz.
Wells scored double digits for the fourth straight game to start the season, although he added very little in terms of peripheral numbers. Although he has recorded six steals in that time, four of those came in the season-opener. Despite seemingly having a consistent starter-level role, Wells should be seen as nothing more than a stream option for points and threes.

Grizzlies' Cedric Coward: Another double-double Monday
Coward finished with 16 points (6-12 FG, 4-4 3Pt), 11 rebounds, three assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Monday's 110-105 victory over the Jazz.
Coward recorded his second straight double-double, helping Memphis to its fourth straight victory to begin the season. After missing the second game of the campaign due to a wrist injury, Coward has put that behind him, playing some of the best basketball of his young career. In three appearances thus far, he has averaged 12.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.7 three-pointers, good enough for top 55 value in standard leagues.

Grizzlies' Zach Edey: Blocks two shots in return
Edey produced four points (0-2 FG, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 21 minutes during Monday's 110-105 win over the Jazz.
Edey was back in the rotation after missing Sunday's game due to injury management. While it was great to see him back on the floor, early foul trouble limited him to just 21 minutes. It continues what has been a rough start to the season, both in terms of production and minutes played. With that said, Memphis is well within its rights to play it safe, given that Edey is coming off a relatively significant foot injury. He remains a clear hold, although managers may have to expect plenty of ups and downs, at least for the first month of the season.
