Roy Miller: Retiring from NFL
Miller (suspension) announced his retirement from football via his personal Instagram account Monday.
Miller was already suspended for the first six games of the season after being charged with domestic battery in November of 2017. Though now retired, the 30-year-old made it seem as if he could return to the league once his legal issues are over. Regardless, Miller can hang his hat on a respectable career as a run-stopping defensive tackle that tallied 252 tackles and eight sacks in 119 career games (84 starts).

Roy Miller: Suspended six games
Miller has been suspended for the first six weeks of the 2018 season, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
At this point it's unclear why Miller has been suspended or if he'll appeal. The free agent defensive lineman played with the Chiefs for seven games last season, recording six tackles and a pass defensed. He may have some trouble signing with a team for camp now that he's ineligible to play for a portion of the season, but he could provide fresh legs for a club later in the year should injuries strike.

Miller served as a depth defensive line piece and was active for seven of nine games this season, recording six tackles (two solo). The 30-year-old was replaced on the 53-man roster by veteran defensive lineman Cam Thomas.

Chiefs' Roy Miller: Lands in KC
Miller signed a contract with the Chiefs on Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports.
Miller provides the Chiefs with insurance along the defensive line in case Chris Jones (knee) ultimately lands on the regular season PUP list. Though he missed 10 games to an Achilles injury in 2016, Miller should now be good to go and will look to improve upon his career-high sack (four) and TFL (six) totals from 2015.
