Sendejo was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
Sendejo never played again this season after suffering a concussion in Week 15 against the Patriots. Whether he would have been able to play in Week 18 had he not entered COVID protocols is unknown.

The Colts placed Sendejo (concussion/undisclosed) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday.
Sendejo missed the last two games with a concussion and remainded in concussion protocol to begin the week. While it's not clear whether the safety has tested positive for COVID-19, he'll likely be unavailable for Sunday's Week 18 matchup against the Jaguars. Assuming Sendejo is sidelined, George Odum should continue to start for the Colts.

Colts' Andrew Sendejo: In concussion protocol
Sendejo was placed in concussion protocol Sunday, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Sendejo racked up four tackles and a pass defended in Saturday's win over New England. However, his status is now in question for a Week 16 matchup against Arizona. If Sendejo is sidelined, it would leave a significant hole in the Colts' secondary, as he's played more than 80 percent of the team's defensive snaps in every game since Week 8.

Colts' Andrew Sendejo: Ready to face Texans
Sendejo (calf) is active for Sunday's game against Houston.
Sendejo received the questionable tag despite practicing with no limitations Friday, so it's not a surprise he's suiting up Sunday. He's set to make another start at free safety with Julian Blackmon (Achilles) out for the season.

Colts' Andrew Sendejo: Ties season high
Sendejo recorded seven tackles (six solo) in a the Colts' 23-17 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.
Sendejo played every snap on defense for the third consecutive game. His seven tackles tied his season-high, a mark he also set in Week 8 against the Titans. The 33-year-old veteran will continue to fill in for Julian Blackmon (Achilles) as the Colts head to Buffalo in a Week 11 matchup.

Colts' Andrew Sendejo: Not listed on injury report
Sendejo (concussion) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Sunday's matchup with the 49ers.
Sendejo suffered a concussion during the Colts' Week 5 loss to Baltimore and was sidelined for Week 6, but it appears he will make his return Sunday. The 34-year-old played the majority of the free safety snaps during Week 4 and 5 while Khari Willis was dealing with a groin injury, but a healthy Willis took back the starting gig during Week 6. However, with Julian Blackmon on IR it seems like both could start at the two safety spots Sunday against the 49ers.
