Will Richardson: Suspension lifted
Richardson had his three-game suspension lifted by the NFL on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Richardson is now available to play again after serving out his suspension over the the first three weeks of the season. The offensive lineman was released by the Jaguars in August and may have to settle for a practice squad role for the time being.

Will Richardson: Receives three-game ban
Richardson received a three-game suspension Wednesday, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
Though the cause of the suspension has yet to be released, Richardson will now be ineligible to play until Week 4 of the 2023 season. The 27-year-old has been a free agent since getting released last August by Jacksonville, with whom he played 44 games (five starts) during his four-year tenure.

Will Richardson: Cut loose Wednesday
The Jaguars released Richardson (ankle) on Wednesday.
Richardson picked up an ankle injury during Jacksonville's preseason opener Aug. 12 before sitting out the team's two following exhibitions. The 26-year-old offensive lineman, who played 13 games with two starts for the Jaguars last year, will likely look to land a reserve role elsewhere when healthy this regular season.

Richardson (ankle) was helped off the field with an ankle injury during the Jaguars' 24-13 loss to the Browns on Friday, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
Richardson's first preseason game was already one to forget prior to the injury, as the left tackle gave up a pair of sacks before suffering the ankle injury. With Cam Robinson entrenched as the starting left tackle and the duo of Jawaan Taylor and Walker Little fighting for the starting right tackle position, the loser of the Taylor-Little battle may slot in as the swing tackle, which could leave Richardson as the odd man out after a rough first preseason outing.

This means Richardson will presumably be Cam Robinson's full-time backup. The 24-year-old went into the 2019 season primarily as a guard, but ended up filling in across the line. He will now focus primarily on protecting Gardner Minshew's blindside if called upon.
