Texans' K'Von Wallace: Joins active roster
The Texans signed Wallace off their practice squad Friday.
Wallace joined the Texans' practice squad in early November and has now been promoted to the active roster. The 28-year-old from Clemson is expected to provide depth in Houston's secondary while also likely contributing on special teams during Saturday's matchup against the Chargers.

The Giants released Wallace on Sunday.
Wallace signed with the Giants at the beginning of training camp. He played in two of the Giants' preseason games and finished with six tackles (three solo), but he will not be on the team's 53-man roster heading into the regular season. The Giants signed Wallace (ankle) on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old safety spent last season in Seattle and appeared in nine regular-season games before his season was cut short in Week 9 due to an ankle injury that required a trip to injured reserve. Now healthy, Wallace will go compete for a third or fourth safety spot in New York behind Jevon Holland and Tyler Nubin.

Seahawks' K'Von Wallace: Won't return this season
Wallace's (ankle) 21-day practice window expired Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Wallace landed on IR on Nov. 11. He was designated to return Dec. 11, but Seattle didn't activate him within the required 21-day period. As such, the veteran safety won't be able to play again until the 2025 campaign. Wallace finished this season with 15 tackles (nine solo) and a forced fumble over nine games.

Despite being a full practice participant all week, Wallace will remain on IR as he's not progressed enough to return from an ankle injury he suffered in Week 9 against the Rams. Wallace's next opportunity to play will be Week 17 against the Bears on Thursday, Dec. 26.

Wallace (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday night's matchup against the Packers, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
The Clemson product was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday and practiced in full throughout the week, but it appears he's not ready for in-game action just yet. Wallace will remain on injured reserve, and his next opportunity to suit up will come Dec. 22 when the Seahawks face the Vikings. Rayshawn Jenkins is likely to serve as Seattle's top reserve safety with Wallace out in Week 15.
