  • Rams' Konata Mumpfield: Held to one catch Sunday

Mumpfield caught one of two targets for 15 yards during Sunday's 35-21 win at Las Vegas.

With Davante Adams (hamstring) on IR and Puka Nacua dealing with a calf injury going into gameday, it looked like Mumpfield was going to see his role expand in Week 7. While he was second on the team in snaps at wide receiver Sunday (28), he still lagged far behind Nacua (58). As long as the latter remains available, Mumpfield appears unlikely to draw more than a few targets in any given game.

  • Rams' Konata Mumpfield: Looking at increased opportunity

Mumpfield could get a significant bump in opportunity Sunday in Week 7 against Las Vegas since Davante Adams (hamstring) is on IR and Puka Nacua (calf) is questionable to play, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

The Rams have so far suggested that Nacua's injury is minor, but he's officially questionable for Sunday. Meanwhile, Adams is out a minimum of four games. Quarterback Matthew Stafford will therefore likely look for another wideout to step up, and Mumpfield figures to get an opportunity to produce. When Nacua was out Weeks 2 and 3, Mumpfield hovered around a 70 percent offensive snap share, and he had a big performance against Denver, posting a 4-93-1 receiving line on eight targets. With that said, wideouts Jordan Whittington and Tutu Atwell could also be primed for increased roles, and Stafford may give more attention than usual to tight ends Tyler Higbee, Colby Parkinson and Davis Allen.

  • Rams' Konata Mumpfield: Two catches against Arizona

Mumpfield caught two of three passes for 15 yards during the Rams' 18-16 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

Mumpfield was on the field for only five offensive snaps against the Bills in Week 5, but he was more involved against the Cardinals with 27 offensive snaps. That snap count figures to increase for the Rams' next few games, seeing as Davante Adams is facing a 6-to-10 week recovery timeline for a ruptured left hamstring that required surgery, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The Rams will hit the road for Week 7 against the Raiders, whose defense ranks 25th in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers.

  • Rams' Konata Mumpfield: Practices fully Thursday

Mumpfield (shoulder) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Mumpfield suffered a bruised shoulder in last Sunday's win over the Eagles but is fine ahead of Monday night's matchup with the Bills. With Puka Nacua back healthy alongside Davante Adams, Mumpfield has very minimal fantasy appeal.

  • Rams' Konata Mumpfield: Dealing with shoulder issue

Mumpfield suffered a rotator cuff contusion during Sunday's 24-20 win over the Eagles, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.

Mumpfield briefly exited the game before returning to the field, and head coach Sean McVay and the team don't appear to be overly worried about the injury. With Puka Nacua returning to action Sunday, Mumpfield saw only three targets, reeling in one catch for seven yards in the victory.

  • Rams' Konata Mumpfield: Secures long touchdown in loss

Mumpfield caught four of eight targets for 93 yards and a touchdown during Sunday night's 30-26 loss to Denver.

Mumpfield operated in a more prominent role at wide receiver behind Davante Adams once again in Week 3 while Puka Nacua (hip) remained sidelined for a second game in a row. The rookie finished third on the team in targets behind Adams (13) and tight end Tyler Higbee (11). Mumpfield's biggest moment of the game came in the fourth quarter when he connected with quarterback Matthew Stafford for a 48-yard score with 3:46 remaining in regulation. The wide receiver has now opened his NFL career by catching five of 11 targets for 105 yards and a touchdown over three regular-season contests.

  • Rams' Konata Mumpfield: One grab in MNF win

Mumpfield caught one of two targets for 12 yards in Monday night's win over the Giants.

With Puka Nacua (hip) out for Week 2 against New York, Mumpfield saw elevated snaps and actually led all Los Angeles wideouts with a 69 percent snap share on offense. It didn't translate to a notable increase in opportunities from Matthew Stafford, as Mumpfield is deep down the pecking order for targets.

  • Rams' Konata Mumpfield: Poised for bigger role sans Nacua

With Puka Nacua (hip) inactive, Mumpfield is expected to serve as the Rams' WR2 behind Davante Adams against the Giants on Monday, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports.

Jordan Whittington (quadriceps) is also inactive, so Mumpfield is expected to take on a larger role on offense for Monday's game, though the Rams will also likely lean more heavily on tight ends Colby Parkinson, Tyler Higbee and Terrance Ferguson in 13-man personnel. Mumpfield failed to haul in his lone target while logging 16 offensive snaps during the Rams' Week 1 loss to the 49ers.

  • Rams' Konata Mumpfield: Draws just one target Thursday

Mumpfield did not catch his only target during the Rams' 27-7 loss against the 49ers in Week 1.

Mumpfield lined up for 16 of the Rams' 61 offensive snaps in Week 1, and he played six snaps on special teams. As long as two-time Pro Bowler Puka Nacua and veteran Davante Adams are available, there likely won't be room for any other Rams wide receivers to draw many targets.
