  • Browns' Audric Estime: Heads to inactive list for Week 7

Estime (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans.

Estime carried nine times for 19 yards and a touchdown in his 2026 debut during last week's win over the Ravens, but he'll be in street clothes Sunday while the Browns welcome Quinshon Judkins (ankle) and Dylan Sampson (knee) back from injuries. So long as Judkins, Sampson and Jaleel McLaughlin are all available for Cleveland, Estime could remain a fixture on the inactive list in the weeks to come.

  • Browns' Audric Estime: Finds end zone in Browns debut

Estime turned nine carries into 19 yards and a touchdown during the Browns' 13-10 win over the Ravens on Sunday.

The Browns were without Quinshon Judkins (foot), Raheim Sanders (hip, IR) and Dylan Sampson (knee, IR) on Sunday, so Estime and Jaleel McLaughlin were the leaders of Cleveland's backfield. Estime and McLaughlin each had nine carries, but it was the former that logged a two-yard rushing touchdown midway through the fourth quarter to tie the game up at 10-10. Estime's 19 offensive snaps were nearly half of McLaughlin (39), but both of their roles would shrink significantly if Judkins is cleared to return for Week 7 against the Titans on Oct. 25.

  • Browns' Audric Estime: Added to 53-man roster

The Browns signed Estime to the 53-man roster Tuesday.

Estime signed to the Vikings practice squad in late September before signing with Cleveland. The 23-year-old will act as Jaleel McLaughlin is the only other healthy running back on the Browns' roster. Dylan Sampson (knee) remains on injured reserve, and Quinshon Judkins (foot) and Raheim Sanders (hip) are both dealing with injuries after Sunday's 17-12 loss to the Jets.

  • Audric Estime: Expected to be poached by Cleveland

The Browns are expected to sign Estime off the Vikings' practice squad to the active roster, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports Monday.

The Browns are in need of backfield depth, given that Dylan Sampson (knee) is on injured reserve and that both Quinshon Judkins (foot) and Raheim Sanders (hip) sustained their respective injuries during Sunday's 17-12 loss to the Jets. Jaleel McLaughlin is currently the only healthy running back on the Browns' roster, so Estime could have a sizable role in Week 6 against the Ravens on Oct. 18 depending on the practice participation of Judkins, Sanders and Sampson over the coming days.

  • Audric Estime: Signs to Minnesota practice squad

The Vikings signed Estime to the practice squad Wednesday.

Estime worked out for the team Tuesday and will provide backfield depth behind Aaron Jones, Demond Claiborne and special-teamer DeeJay Dallas while Jordan Mason (thumb) remains on injured reserve for at least the next two games. Estime has handled 122 career regular-season carries for 508 yards and three touchdowns.

  • Audric Estime: Works out with Minnesota

The Vikings hosted Estime for a workout Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The Saints waived Estime from injured reserve with an injury settlement last Tuesday. The running back suffered a thigh injury in early Sept. and was quickly placed on IR, only to be waived shortly after. Estime played in seven games for the Vikings during the 2025 regular season, rushing 46 times for 198 yards and a touchdown.

  • Audric Estime: Let go with injury settlement

The Saints waived Estime (thigh) from injured reserve Tuesday with an injury settlement, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Estime was placed on injured reserve Sept. 12 due to a thigh injury. The running back was set to return to the team as a depth option after a short stint on IR. However, with Alvin Kamara making his season debut in Week 2 and Kendre Miller and CJ Donaldson also on hand behind Travis Etienne, Estime was deemed expendable. Estime is now a free agent and can sign with any team as soon as he recovers from his thigh injury.

  • Saints' Audric Estime: Placed on IR

The Saints placed Estime (thigh) on injured reserve Saturday, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.

Estime was ruled out for Sunday's game against Detroit with a thigh injury. The running back's injury came out of nowhere but movement to IR likely means it is a significant issue. Estime will need to miss the first four games of the regular season before he is eligible to return to the field.

  • Saints' Audric Estime: Ruled out versus Detroit

Estime (thigh) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lions.

It's unclear when Estime suffered the thigh injury, but he didn't practice at all this week after leading the Saints in rushing in the preseason finale two weeks ago. If Alvin Kamara (knee) is unable to go against Detroit, Kendre Miller would serve as the RB2 behind Travis Etienne.

  • Saints' Audric Estime: Still sidelined at practice Thursday

Estime (thigh) did not participate at practice Thursday.

The thigh injury that landed Estime on the Saints' official injury report Wednesday kept him sidelined Thursday. He'll probably need to practice in some form Friday to have a realistic chance of playing Sunday at Detroit.

  • Saints' Audric Estime: DNP on Wednesday

Estime (thigh) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.

Estime is dealing with a thigh issue that kept him out of the first official practice of Week 1. The running back will need to upgrade his participation to at least limited by Friday's session to have a shot at playing in Sunday's contest against the Lions.

  • Saints' Audric Estime: Chance for expanded role Week 1

Estime is listed as the fourth running back on the Saints' 53-man roster, Grant Chachere of SI.com reports.

Estime was able to beat out Zamir White and Devin Neal (hamstring) for that final backfield depth spot on the active roster for the regular season. Estime has worked in a rotational role in his first two years in the NFL, but the 2024 fifth-rounder would operate in a larger role behind Travis Etienne in Week 1 against the Lions if one or both of Alvin Kamara (knee) and Kendre Miller (undisclosed) were to be limited or ruled out.

  • Saints' Audric Estime: Leading rusher in preseason finale

Estime rushed four times for 46 yards and caught all three of his targets for 22 yards in Friday's 27-24 preseason win over the Cowboys.

Estime led the Saints in rushing Friday, finishing with four more yards than Kendre Miller thanks to a 33-yard run. Injuries to Alvin Kamara (knee) and Devin Neal (hamstring) could open the door for Estime to make the 53-man roster, though Miller and recent trade acquisition Zamir White are also competing for spots in New Orleans' backfield behind Travis Etienne.

  • Saints' Audric Estime: Returns to practice Monday

Estime (ankle) participated in practice Monday, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.

Estime had missed some time due to an ankle injury, but the running back's return to Monday's walkthrough session will enable him to re-enter the depth equation in a New Orleans backfield that's dealing with several injuries. In seven regular-season games with the Saints last season, Estime carried 46 times for 198 yards and one touchdown, adding 12 catches for 102 yards.

  • Saints' Audric Estime: Expected to miss some time

Estime is expected to miss some time with his ankle injury, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.

While Estime has avoided a serious injury, he's going to be down for a little bit, per Jackson. It's a bad break for Estime, who is trying to win a job in the Saints' backfield that just lost Alvin Kamara (knee) to a sprained MCL. Estime is competing with the likes of Kendre Miller and Devin Neal behind Travis Etienne. Across seven regular-season appearances last season, Estime rushed 46 times for 198 yards and one touchdown.

  • Saints' Audric Estime: Dealing with ankle injury

Estime suffered an ankle injury during Saturday's preseason loss to the Jaguars, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Estime was injured on a hard hit after reeling in a catch for a six-yard loss in the second quarter. Prior to that, the 22-year-old had been impressive, breaking multiple tackles for a nine-yard TD run on New Orleans' first offensive play and tallying 28 yards on five total carries. Estime has a chance to earn the No. 3 RB role for the Saints, but he'll likely need to get healthy enough to show what he has to offer in additional preseason contests.

  • Saints' Audric Estime: Heads to locker room Saturday

Estime went to the locker room due to an apparent leg injury during Saturday's preseason game against Jacksonville, John Hendrix of AthlonSports.com reports.

Estime was hurt when he was hit hard on a catch that went for a six-yard loss. The third-year tailback went to the injury tent and then tested things out on the sideline before heading into the locker room. It remains to be seen if Estime is dealing with anything serious, but he was having a good game prior to exiting, rushing five times for 28 yards and a touchdown. He's in the running to be the Saints' No. 3 RB behind Travis Etienne and Alvin Kamara.

  • Saints' Audric Estime: Plays workhorse role in loss

Estime rushed 21 times for 63 yards and brought in all five targets for 43 yards in the Saints' 19-17 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.

With Alvin Kamara (knee) sidelined once again to close out the season, Estime easily paced the Saints' ground attack in carries and rushing yards for a second straight week. The second-year pro was much less efficient than during his 14-carry, 94-yard performance against the Titans in Week 17, but Estime helped make up for it with an impressive day as a pass catcher. Estime put some good play on tape over the last two games, and with Kamara's future uncertain, it's possible Estime enters the final year of his deal with New Orleans in position to compete for significant playing time in 2026.
