Rechsteiner had his six-game suspension lifted by the NFL on Tuesday, per the league's official transaction log.
Rechsteiner was suspended for the first six weeks of the regular season, but he will now be able to return to practice. In order to make room on the practice squad, fellow wideout Kevin Austin was released by the Saints on Tuesday.

Saints' Brock Rechsteiner: Suspended to start season
Rechsteiner (suspension) will miss the first six games of the 2026 regular season, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Rechsteiner will be eligible to participate in all preseason activities, with his suspension beginning once rosters are reduced to 53 players. The league did not disclose what rules the undrafted free agent out of Jacksonville State violated. If Rechsteiner does not make the Saints roster, the suspension will still run its course while he is a free agent.
