Giants' Darnay Holmes: All set for Week 14
Holmes (shoulder) will be active for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Holmes will be back on the field in Week 14 after missing last week's tie with the Commanders while nursing a shoulder injury. He'll return to his depth role on defense and special teams.

Giants' Darnay Holmes: Seeing first-team reps
Holmes was working as the Giants' starting nickel cornerback during offseason OTAs on Thursday, Zack Rosenblatt of NJ.com reports.
Holmes appears to be fully healthy once again after going on injured reserve in late November of the 2021 season. The third-year cornerback played on 274 defensive snaps over 11 games last season, totaling 29 tackles and two passes defended. Holmes saw this playing time increase throughout the course of last year while playing in every game before going on injured reserve and may move into a larger role as the team's No. 1 nickel cornerback going into next season.

Giants' Darnay Holmes: Placed on IR
Holmes (ribs) was put on injured reserve Tuesday, Michael Eisen of the Giants' official site reports.
The 23-year-old will miss at least three weeks before he will be eligible for activation. With Holmes out, Keion Crossen and Aaron Robinson will likely take on larger roles in the secondary.

Giants' Darnay Holmes: May miss time
Holmes (chest) was injured Sunday against the Eagles and spent the night at the hospital, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Holmes was hit in his ribs while returning an interception. He attempted to return to the field, but he was having issues breathing and was forced to leave the game. The decision was then made to take him to the hospital for further testing. He did leave the hospital this morning and is also reportedly likely to miss a couple of weeks.

Holmes (chest) won't return to Sunday's game against the Eagles, according to Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site.
The loss of Holmes is particularly big for the Giants since fellow cornerback Adoree' Jackson (quadriceps) has also been ruled out. As a result, Aaron Robinson is expected to see increased work the rest of the way.
