Washington spent the entire offseason with New York, so he could be a candidate to resurface on the team's practice squad. The 2022 fifth-round pick spent most of last year on the Chiefs' practice squad and suited up for one regular-season game with the team.

Giants' Montrell Washington: Inks future deal with Big Blue
The Giants signed Washington to a reserve/future contract Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Washington spent most of the 2024 season on the Chiefs' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp in late August. The 2022 fifth-round pick will be on the Giants' 90-man roster for the start of the new league year, which will give him a chance to participate in OTAs, minicamp and training camp.

Washington spent most of the 2024 regular season on the Chiefs' practice squad, and he was elevated for Week 8 against the Raiders and played 10 snaps (five on offense, five on special teams) but otherwise didn't show up in the box score. He was cut from the practice squad Dec. 30 in order to make room for linebacker Blake Lynch, but Washington is back on the practice squad and will be available for elevation to the active roster during the Chiefs' playoff run.
