Jake Carlock: Bounced from practice squad
Carlock was released from the Falcons' practice squad Monday.
The 24-year-old linebacker had a brief run with the Falcons, packing his bags less than a week after initially joining the practice squad. There's always the potential for Atlanta to bring back Carlock for another look, but for now, he's searching for a new job after Devin Gray and Tony Brooks-James signed to the Falcons' practice squad Monday.

Jake Carlock: Signs on with practice squad
Carlock joined the Falcons' practice squad Tuesday, Jason Butt of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
With Laquon Treadwell landing on the reserve/COVID-19 list, a spot opened up on Atlanta's practice squad for the 24-year-old linebacker. Carlock was let go by Miami ahead of April's draft, and he hasn't caught on anywhere else in the interim. The LIU-Post standout will now provide defensive depth for the Falcons as he remains in search of his regular-season debut.

Jake Carlock: Cut by Miami
The Dolphins waived Carlock on Saturday.
Carlock was one of six players cut loose Saturday as the Dolphins trimmed down their offseason roster ahead of the 2020 NFL Draft. Since going undrafted out of FCS Long Island last spring, Carlock has now had stints with the Giants and Dolphins, but he's still awaiting his NFL debut.
