Drew Anderson: Let go by Cardinals
Anderson was cut by Arizona on Sunday.
The 24-year-old was promoted to the 53-man roster for the final game of the 2019 regular season, otherwise spending all of his time on the practice squad. Anderson was one of four quarterbacks on the roster heading into camp, but it looks like the Cardinals will give Chris Streveler the first chance to be the third-string QB. Anderson will look to earn a depth role elsewhere for 2020.

Cardinals' Drew Anderson: Promoted for season finale
Anderson was promoted to the Cardinals' 53-man roster Friday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Starting QB Kyler Murray (hamstring) will be a game-day decision, prompting Arizona to add some depth at quarterback. The undrafted rookie spent training camp and the preseason with the Cardinals before being let go at roster cutdowns, and he's since been on the team's practice squad. Anderson would serve as the No. 2 quarterback behind Brett Hundley should Murray be unable to suit up this weekend.
